Immobile's shot was absolutely filthy! And I was the only one to pick Italy in the poll? Hehe

Chiellini pulled up lame with a hamstring and was subbed out. goal.com | 26' | ITALY LEAD! It's a wonderful move from Italy which is started by Locatelli out to Berardi on the right. The midfielder continued his run to the edge of the six-yard box to get on the end of the cross into the middle and he slots it past Sommer before the goalkeeper even realises he's there. 1-0 Italy!

U.S. broadcasts get Jon Champion/Taylor Twellman or Ian Darke/Stewart Robson for most our matches on ESPN. I think we're blessed.

goal.com | 19' | CHIELLINI SCORES! Insigne swings the corner in and Chiellini jumps between two Swiss players to reach it. He nods it down and takes advantage of the confusion in the box to poke the ball past Sommer from close range, but VAR is having a look at this one... goal.com | 20' | NO GOAL! VAR has a look at the replay of the goal and the ball actually struck Chiellini's arm when he brought it down. It's a handball in the direct build-up to the goal, so it won't count. Still 0-0!

Turkey v Wales
goal.com | 90' + 5' | GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! ROBERTS SCORES!!!!! 2-0 WALES!! Roberts surely secures the win for Wales as he stabs home a pass from Bale from close range. Bale brings the ball out from the corner and teases the Turkey defence. The Real Madrid man spots Roberts in space and offloads into the six-yard box. The full-back sticks out a leg and diverts a low strike past Cakir. Bale atones for his penalty miss by killing off the game with a pass to Roberts. The full-back makes no mistake from six yards.

Could this result clinch Wales making the knockout rounds in their first two appearances of the EUROs?

Turkey v Wales
goal.com | Bale is the first player to miss the goal frame entirely with a penalty (excluding shootouts) at the Euros since Raul for Spain against France at the 2000 tournament.

Turkey v Wales
Turkey have been disappointing so far in this tournament. I expect they're going to start playing desperate and there's going to be alot of space on counter attacks. I doubt Bale is done.

Turkey v Wales
61' PENALTY MISS! Bale loses his composure from 12 yards as he skies his effort well over the bar. He takes a stutter-step and seems to lose his foot before lifting his strike over the top. How costly could that be for Wales?

Turkey v Wales
From goal.com (where I have to follow commentary-only while at work in the U.S. I can only see the 3pm EST games right now and it's why I have next week off) 42' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! RAMSEY SCORES AT LAST!!!!!! 1-0 WALES!!!!!! The midfielder atones for his earlier two misses as he latches on to a sublime ball from Bale before slotting a strike past Cakir from close range. The goal is all about Bale as he arcs a brilliant pass over the top of the Turkey defence for Ramsey's run in behind. The Juventus man controls it on his chest before using his second touch to guide it into the bottom-left corner.

If this holds up, cue Ronaldo pissing and moaning about Hungary not "playing to win", "playing scared', etc. ala his comments after the draw with Iceland in 2016.
-
Group F
Remember Portugal and Hungary played to a 3-3 draw in EURO 2016, so we could be in for a wild one.

Group E
Sweden could've won, Berg had a bunny at the backpost and flubbed it!
-
Group E
Welp, that was fast. 2-1 to Slovakia. Škriniar scores it.

Yup Poland down to ten men.

Group E
Well that was a quick equalizer in the second half. Linetty makes 1-1 at the 46th minute.

Scotland v Czech Republic
If Scotland 'goes for it' against England, it'll be like 5-1 England. Marks my words. Or like when Panama 'went for it' against them in the World Cup and that was 6-1. When you're out-classed, it's unfortunately (for the viewers) best to pack it in and hope for counter-attacks. Iceland did that best against England and I don't know if anybody will ever be able to repeat it but you've got to try.

Christian Ericksen video called his teammates and probably spurred them on to resume play so this puts things into better context. Im sure UEFA officials left any decisions about restarting today in Danish Football Association hands which is all you can do. Cannot praise the medical staff enough who undoubtedly saved Ericksen's life. They didn't have any margin for delay. The tournament's allstars now no matter how the actual play on the field turns out.
