  1. Does anyone else kinda hate this DVD because of the wanky editing? The actual show was AMAZING, but they kinda ruined the atmosphere with the DVD. It amazed me how I still got goosebumps when they played he first chord of WYIN. After 8 years, I'm still getting shivery over it... even on DVD!! Also it made me laugh when i watched it again last night, because someone runs onstage to Stef, like at Wembley last year!! However, I'm still not inspired to have a B12 shot... even if Brian can have one! Any thoughts?
  2. Both the support bands are playing this event... I loved them both! See you there!!! <a href="http://www.insomniacsball.co.uk" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.xtaster.co.uk/assets/0/ib3_flyer_web.jpg"></a></a>
  3. Ok Ladies and Gents... Steve. Steve doesn't seem to get much of our attention these days. I feel bad about that. For starters, his knees must be absolutely f*cked. I thought my knees were a bit dodgy now and again, but thrashing away at those drms for over 90 mnutes in every gig is amazing. It also winds me a up a fair bit that we never get any photo's of him... he hides behind that drum kit!!! The best photo i have of him is one that i took of the screen at Ali Pali last year!!! ha ha ha! I think he's a bit like Bill when it comes to publicity. Please feel free to add comments about Steve... after all, he is a member of the band too!! Big love to Steve xxxx
  4. 1 weds ticket still going. Any takers?
  5. Plasticine Cupid posted a post in a topic in Indie, Rock and Alternative
Ok... so we know Brian likes to be a hairstyle ahead of the fans! What will he surprise us with next? (to be fair, his options appear to be limited, but with a good stylist I'm sure he'll pull something new out the bag!) xxx
  6. It will be next year, fact!! Yesssss! But when? Even if they stated now that it will be out in (for example) August... that could still change according to the record company, and also who else is releasing round the same time. More instrumentals please!
  7. GRRRRRRRR... The only thing you can rely on, is you can't rely on anything (or anyone!!) Anybody know anyone that wants a ticket for the Wednesday show now? My friend has bought tickets for Tuesday, and would rather go then instead. Get back to me asap, and i will see if it's still available. Amye xx
  8. Aly, it would depend on how long you wait at the venue. if you queue up all day to get in first, you will probably see them arrive at the venue... unless they arrive when you've gone in search of food or a toilet!! Worth doing tho. the atmosphere is great. Bring chalk and a pack of cards, and you'e set for the day!! Amye xx
  9. i think, don't quote me just yet... about 2000. so, not many. especially if you imagine EVERYONE buying 2 at a time! they wouldn't last very long!
  10. Trust me, i will tell you everything... you liked my report on the Wembley and Manchester gigs, no? I will need a hand uploading my photo's, but I'll keep you all posted. Aly, I'm sure you could get a ticket on the day. I'll keep my ear to the ground and see if i can get hold of one for you. You live in London don't you? Fingers crossed! Amye x
  11. Who's got their tickets?? I've got mine!! See you there???

To download the song from iTunes head here: http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=2370...&partnerId=2003 Can we spread the word and possible get this higher up the chart? Perhaps we could have a different song each week? Can we really make a difference?? Please let me know how you get on, I have a similar post in the Placebo forum, but i've put this in the chart forum too. Take it easy.
  14. Ok, as i posted before, Placebo have done a cover of the Kate Bush classic 'Running Up The Hill' and it was featured on the season premiere of The OC recently on Channel 4. The song has had a great response and we are very pleased to announce that it is available to download and is currently number 35 on the iTunes chart and could feature in this weeks Offical UK Top 40! To download the song from iTunes head here: http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=2370...&partnerId=2003 Guys, if you haven't done so already... you know what you gotta do!! Buy the song and again Placebo could feature in the Top 40!!! This is REALLY exciting news, so spread the word and report back to this topic to let me know how you're getting on!! Come on, BULLY everyone you know who has heard of PLACEBO to at least preview the track!!! http://www.cover-vs-original.com/song-52.html Let's make this a team effort guys!! Much love, Amye xx
  15. Ok... not Thick, just narrow minded
  16. why are people so thick... i placed this for lots of people to see...people dont have to LOVE placebo to be interested do they? it's a good version of the song is it not?
  17. Guess what? The Placebo track "Running Up That Hill" is the main track in Episode 1 of the new series of hit US show, The OC. The first OC episode is broadcast on T4 on this coming Sunday at lunchtime - so tune in and check it out! Oh, and you can buy the "Running Up That Hill" single here: http://www.7digital.com/stores/basket.aspx...id=772&tid=4295 Even if you don't rate the Kate Bush version, you should check this out... IT'S AMAZING!!! Lovin' Plasticinecupid xx
  18. This Picture 3+ The Bitter End 23- Special Needs 35 (this is a no hoper for This Picture isn't it!!)
  19. I'm really sorry i seem to have the blandest things to talk about! I just like starting new topics and seeing what response i get from people. So simple question... How many times have you seen Placebo? I have seen them at least 18 times. I've also met them a few times too, but never at a Placebo gig!
  20. ooohh... no not the re-release in 2006, the "original" from 1996. one has Nanacy Boy Single version, the other Nancy Boy "sex mix". i don't have my copies with me, so i can't say which is which. No news on the single? Any ideas where i can find out?
  21. how many people are on the placebo forum then?
  22. i never know what to say!!!
  23. 4 big fans, don't 4get me!!!
  24. It's not Infra-Red, but do you have the Placebo Singles tab book? It's utterly unofficial, and i am the fool who brought it to their attention last year!! Stef was most displeased!!! Anywho... try this link, and see what you can make of the guitar tabs. obviously i can't promise they will be any use, but they may give you a head start to working it out by ear. ooohhh.. another thought, if you can get hold of a guitar, bionic is really easy to learn!!! That was the first thing i learned to play. Or...( jeeze these ideas are flying!!) Twenty years is very simple, so if you play bass you should be able to play that on guitar because it's mainly single notes picked across the strings. I'll shut up now!!!! Any problems, give me a shout, I'll see what i can do. Amye xx
  25. Does anyone else have this... I have ended up with 2 copies of this picture (single, cd) and 1 is a Red CD and the other is Blue. Now, i know their self titled debut album has two versions, again, red and blue, and the version of Nancy Boy is different. Please help!! Amye xx
