Music predictions 2024
- There will be an overhaul of the UK Chart by the summer time - Ariana will debut her best selling single so far - Kylie will not get to number one with her new album (yeah, not Tension) - Eurovision will produce a number one song in the UK (and Europe) - Sam Ryder will be number two again, but this time in a duet with someone - Spice Girls will do nothing in 2024 but will continue to troll their fans that something is "coming"... - Steps will release a compilation album of sorts - Adele will feature on a dance track, I think my crystal ball is saying a Calvin Harris production - Taylor Swift will continue to be the most streamed artist of 2024 - Alexandra Burke will have a big unexpected summer hit - Charli XCX will cut all of her hair off OK, future self... let's see how my wild predictions turn out haha

DIZZYDJC's Last. FM Chart - W/C 08/01/21
Hey guys, DIZZYDJC a.k.a. Dan here. LAST.FM I am a massive fan of music and charts and statistics and have been using Last.FM to document my listening history for coming on 16 years now (!!). With over a million scrobbles over this time, you can tell I don't mess about when it comes to my music listening habits. So I figure, why not publish what I listen to on a weekly basis? Starting with the second week of 2021. So here goes... (hope this is the right way to do it!)... The + is based on how many artist play counts the song has had, so for example The KLF has had more plays as an artist this week than Dadi Freyr did, hence they get one point more to be #3. #1 ALOK - RAPTURE - 34 STREAMS #2 KYLIE MINOGUE - REAL GROOVE - 32 STREAMS #3 THE KLF - JUSTIFIED & ANCIENT - 31 STREAMS+1 #4 DADI FREYR - FEEL THE LOVE - 31 STREAMS #5 DROVE - PLACES - 30 STREAMS #6 NATHAN DAWE X LITTLE MIX - NO TIME FOR TEARS - 28 STREAMS+1 #7 ALEX PARTY - DON'T GIVE ME YOUR LIFE - 28 STREAMS #8 GALANTIS - DANDELION - 26 STREAMS #9 THE WEEKND - SAVE YOUR TEARS - 25 STREAMS #10 BETTY BOO - DOIN' THE DO - 24 STREAMS Here are my three hot-shots for the week, my fave three songs of the Top 10 if you will in YouTube form. 2021 Predictions
Oooh, I love these time capsule posts. Here's my predictions for 2021... - Little Mix will have a seventh album and it will hit #1. They will also go from strength to strength and have a big hit single that is a ballad. - Adele will come back, in the Q2 season. Will have a big hit album but not a #1 single. - Taylor Swift will have a collab with a big female singer, bets on Katy Perry. This could be from the new album or a stand-alone single. - Justin Bieber will release another album, will get panned both critically and commercially. - Spice Girls mark 25th anniversary with new Wannabe remixes and a deluxe album of "Spice" in November with new/unreleased tracks. - Eurovision will be bigger than ever this year, we will see a Top 40 hit in May for one of the songs. Another song in the contest (which won't do so well in our charts) will also get the highest points ever in a Eurovision show. Oh, and... - Mariah Carey gets another Number 1 next December. This will in turn spur the OCC to compile charts differently from 2022. See you all in December next year to see how right (or wrong) I was.

Can you get Eurovision all over Russia and in Greenland too?
Yes they do. Greenland also broadcasted the show this year aswell. It's likely when and if they become independent from Denmark they will be eligible to enter too. In terms of time, well as you probably saw, it was midnight in Baku when the show started this year.

Madonna's Top 20 Selling Singles
Suprised Like A Prayer isn't higher - I imagined it sold bucket loads in the late 80s
