Does the 2 CD count as 2 sales or 1?
  2. It would actually be her 7th! :o I’m Breathless Erotica Bedtime Stories Greatest Hits Vol. 2 Rebel Heart Madame X
  3. Like a Prayer is my fave! Act of Contrition is great and works even better in this context, it’s very creepy lol. Don’t Cry for Me Argentina is very creative. I’m finding the second half of the album a chore to get through though, modern remixes (well, post-2000) seem so uninspired, bland dance music. Medellín is the exception
  4. Why are you in the Madonna artist forum lol? Jeez, kindly **** off
  5. Clearly not as it hit #1 on Amazon and is #2 (at £24.99!) and #14 on iTunes!
  6. Grindr tweeting about it kinda confirmed it for me lol. A bit like the Stupid Love leak. I’m just glad there seems to be a plan.
  7. Blackpink are lucky to scrape the top 40 half the time I can’t see them delaying it JUST because of that, surely they’d want to avoid the VMA week instead? Unless there’s plans we don’t know about I still think it’s coming at midnight US time, the original “source” that said it was delayed was just some random on ATRL
  8. Oh my god!!! I heard the full thing, it's so beautiful
  9. I hate that. Paid for sales should always have the biggest impact on the chart.
  10. Incredibly homophobic of both of them on a Madonna release week
  11. Minnesota Uni where did that come from lol? I’m so happy she’s doing this proving Larry and all the fans who said she would retire without the conservatorship wrong. It’s so obvious that was never the case, she might never do another gruelling 4-year residency again but I could more than live with that!

Soulmate is probably my favourite of the bunch
  13. Yeah, Saucy Santana wailing “material grrraaauuhh” totally ruins it for me
  14. 30. Joni Mitchell - Both Sides Now It was so emotional watching her perform this at the Newport Folk Festival yesterday, her first time on stage since an aneurysm in 2015 almost killed her. I cried! I love the relationship she has with Brandi Carlile, it’s very reminiscent of Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett
  15. Don’t worry I’m glad it did! :P
  16. Hot Like Fire, although it actually peaked at #30!
  17. I thought I missed a Delta Goodrem revival there
  18. Oh Christ make it stop!
  19. Just reserved a hotel next to the Hydro for the 13th and 20th of May next year :P They were insanely expensive a few weeks ago. And not that it means much but some hotels have blocked out 2 or 3 weeks in May next year. I can always cancel if I’m wrong! Lol
  20. Got a M&G for Glasgow! Wanted Edinburgh but I’ve been ill and fell back asleep before they went on sale  Thankfully Glasgow was still available!
  21. It sold 29,365 the week it went #1. Not absolutely terrible for 2006 I suppose? But lucky to be #1 http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=193165
  22. That’s being a bit pedantic
  23. We know this but we can still say it would’ve been better to release on a Friday for a full week’s sales. This is a chart forum after all? Nobody is trying to manage Beyoncé’s career or attack her. There’s the exact same debate EVERY time this happens with an artist like Beyoncé, I’d find it slightly annoying no matter who it was lol. I did think she wanted to do a more traditional roll-out this time by announcing the album this far in advance but I guess not.
  24. I don’t know why there’s such a debate for a song that is pretty likely to peak in week 1 of course it’s a dumb move chart-wise to release it midweek, I have the same frustration with Madonna (who 100% would peak in week 1!)
  25. Yeah I saw a tweet the other day saying if streams can be “converted” into sales, then sales should be translated into streams - a trillion streams for Thriller then :P Streaming has really sucked the fun out of pop and chart following
