they're both gaining airplay by about the same amount [both up 4mil for this week so far], and gaga's pop bars on itunes are now way ahead of SL, more so than last week. so i hope next week she can pull it off! if not, it's okay, it'll still be a huge #2 hit, but hitting number one just for a week would be nice. this all reminds me of 2 years ago w/ B kept Fergalicious from #1 for weeks even though Ferg was #1 on sales, including christmas week, but Irreplaceable had massive airplay that Ferg could never overcome and peaked at #2 :(

ugh, damn that beyoyo. SL will still be #1 on the Hot 100 w/ it's airplay advantage. hopefully GaGa can do it next week!

so just dance is released physically on the 12, will it be available to d/l the week before or are they releasing them simultaneously? i'm excited. there isn't much competition in january and the song is briliant. it should be top 5/top 10 no problem.. hopefully #1 :D

it didn't make the top 10 because - 1) they didn't release a physical for it. and 2) the label didn't submit the song for the chart 'til the week after the album came out. it was top 10 on itunes for most of the the release week, but by the 2nd week it was already falling down the chart... Why Not Us? should do better. it has a great video, I'd read they're gonna do quite a bit of tv promo for it, and it's featured in a commercial

I really like this song. Kat is a joke though.. why does RedOne keep her around? I don't think Lady GaGa had anything to do with this song though, it's just produced by the same guy who did a good chunk of her album..

she's flying to the US to film the video? isn't that a bit odd, esp. since the album's out in a few days? she shoulda stayed and done as much promo as she can for it. :unsure: I like other songs on the album more, but this seems a good choice of single. I can see it having a wide/mainstream appeal

it's not that bad. it could have been better, but Just Dance is still huge there so hopefully it can stay in the top 10 a few weeks. Girlicious had a crappy reality show running marathons on MuchMusic, so it's unfair to compare the 2 since GaGa had nowhere near as much exposure. -_-

album sampler is fantastic. only ones I dislike on first listen are Money Honey [sounds like a lackluster Just Dance] and Again Again which is just dull. they could have easily been replaced with better songs like Retro Sexual & Dirty Ice Cream
