Well, this was certainly a reminder that I'm really out of touch with current television. Outside of the variety category (I've seen all of those shows in some capacity), I've only seen "Big Bang Theory" and "Saturday Night Live". Also, I'm hoping "The Daily Show" wins the Most Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Series award. It would be a fantastic send-off for Jon Stewart to win an Emmy right as he's out the door. Colbert would be my second choice.

I'm going to go with "Deathly Hallows (Part 1)" this time. It's great when you watch Part 2 right after and get the full experience, but it doesn't really hold up well as an individual movie.

The season will also be introducing Amy Manson as Merida from Pixar's Brave (!), and Rumplestiltskin's mother (who does not have a confirmed actress, but is apparently going to be named Evanna), and will focus on the birth of Zelena and Robin's baby, the search for Lillith's father, Henry regretting breaking the author's quill, and Emma being transported to Camelot while she's discovering her powers as the "Dark Swan" (which is also the title of the fall premiere). Also, good news for Regina fans, it seems like Regina and Robin will finally be happily together through this season. They've also indicated that Belle and Rumple might end up on that path too, with some effort. They've also indicated that the 100th episode will be the Spring Premiere and it'll be something big. They've also talked (probably...hopefully in jest) about a musical episode. Thoughts? I...really don't know what to think about this. Don't really recognize any of the actors/actresses, so I don't have any expectations of the performances being amazing or disastrous. Really excited for Merlin, especially after all the build up surrounding him, and the news about Regina/Robin and Belle/Rumple. I'm a little worried that they might end up overextending themselves and end up leaving some plot threads unresolved or not developed properly. I was really worried about that with the second half of last season too, but they just barely managed to avoid it for me. I guess only time will tell if they manage to pull it off again. Also, no please at a musical episode. Just no. No. No no no no no no NO. I mean...ugh. I can't imagine that possibly being any good and it'll probably be the fastest way to kill the series.

Avatar. It was a pretty movie and had great special effects, but I can't remember a single thing about that movie's plot or characters.

My Twitter feed right now has basically been exploding with the Doctor Who Q&A that they're doing. Is it bad that in that incredibly exciting trailer, the thing I found most exciting was the like one second clip of Peter Capaldi strumming a guitar? Like, to me just the sheer thought of The Doctor wearing sunglasses and rocking out is amazing. Also, I noticed zygons and Missy in the trailer. There's probably more, but it went by a little too fast to decipher 100% of it. And I wonder what kind of role Masie Williams will have in this? Maybe a new companion or a one-shot companion like Sally Sparrow or Astrid? I'm ridiculously excited for this. September 19th cannot come soon enough.

Haha, I had the VHS sets of Waking with Dinosaurs and Walking with Beasts growing up. I watched them ALL the time, because I was a 9-year old boy and FRICKIN' DINOSAURS, MAN. I still have very fond memories of them.

I'm going to have to go with Half-Blood Prince. Nothing important really happens until the end, and the movie could get a bit wangsty. Still a pretty good movie, but probably my least favorite Harry Potter film.

Shark Tale. It's been a while since I've seen it, but from what I remember the movie was pretty stupid.

I think I'll go with "Red" for this. I was on the fence between it and "Everything Changes (feat. Ed Sheeran)", but "Red" is more annoying while "Everything Changes" is just aggressively boring to me.

I see what you did there. This makes me a very happy camper. Not as excited as I am for Episode VII, but watching Han and Chewie flying around the galaxy stealing stuff and getting into all sorts of hi-jinks would be an excellent popcorn flick at worst. According to my aggressive Googling, that may be exactly what this is. It's an origin story, as it turns out. If handled well, it could be very exciting. Stop it. Right now. You're going to give me a heart attack from sheer fanboy giddiness. Also, Episode VII is coming out the day before my birthday. HOLLYWOOD STOP SPOILING ME.
