A teaser radio advert has started airing about the upcoming H&M campaign - Madonna's voiceover in the advert says: This is Madonna....I figured out what H&M stands for. It stands for 'Her Majesty'. Isn't that nice of H&M thinking about me?

Madonna and some members of her entourage will appear in an H&M ad campaign that launches in August. At the same time, the retailer will begin selling a specially designed track suit< that it created for the superstar artist. H&M stores also will sell her latest CD, "Confessions on a Dance Floor." In addition to appearing in high-end Versace campaigns, Madonna was featured in a Gap ad campaign three years ago. H&M, which has more than 1,200 stores in 22 countries, markets its affordable fashions to all consumers, including couture-conscious fashionistas. Two years ago, the brand tapped Karl Lagerfeld to design a one-off collection for its fall line. It did the same last year with Stella McCartney. This year, Dutch design team Viktor & Rolf will do the fall 2006 honors.

MIXED TIDBITS The True Blue album was originally to be called Live To Tell, as Madonna herself explains during her press conference for Shanghai Surprise on March 06 1986 in London. The songs that didn't make the final cut of True Blue are Spotlight and Each Time You Break My Heart (given to Nick Kamen) True Blue has very special backing vocalists. One is Siedah Garret who later worked with Madonna again during the re-Invention Tour, another one is Richard Marx who had a successful solo career in the late 80's WHERE'S THE PARTY The song's working title was Working My Fingers To The Bone and it was meant as a homage from M and Steve Bray to the first songs they wrote in the early 80's to make the dance floor explode. LA ISLA BONITA The original title of La Isla Bonita was El Rico Bonito. It was written by Pat Leonard and his wife along with Bruce Gaitsch. The song was apparently been offered to Michael Jackson but he turned it down. Then Madonna heard it and wrote completely new lyrics while she was shooting Shanghai Surprise in China. In the summer of 1986, La Isla Bonita was already getting huge airplay despite the fact the album's single was Papa Don't Preach. A couple of dance covers were also released in Italy before the original song became a single.

The Uk is going to get an exclusive Limited edition 12" picture disc release of "Get Together" with catalog number W725T. Side A will feature a Steven Klein photo taken from the Confessions On A Dance Floor shooting, while Side B features the single cover. Tracks included are the Radio Edit and the Jacques Lu Cont mix The last Uk Madonna picture disc release dates back to August 2000 and it was for the single Music.
