2016 US Election.
What sources? The early voting information I've seen out of Florida shows that Democrats have improved their numbers from this time in 2012, and President Obama still won the state that year. North Carolina has also been very close the last two elections, so that's not a surprise, but the awful governor there seems to have energized the minority vote. Regardless, Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Nevada, and Iowa are not enough for Trump to win. Trump would have to flip Pennsylvania, Virginia, Colorado, or New Hampshire, and doing so seems very unlikely at this point as they've consistently been polling outside the margin of error this cycle.

2016 US Election.
I wish Pennsylvania did early voting though. Early voting in Florida, North Carolina, and Nevada looks promising for Clinton, but I'm hoping she can get many more voters to the polls this weekend. She's currently ahead of where President Obama was in Florida in 2012, and he still ended up winning the state by ~60,000 votes, despite Romney doing well in early voting.

2016 US Election.
It's funny how states have trended. California used to be reliably Republican, and states like West Virginia and Texas used to vote Democratic a lot.

2016 US Election.
That's not the best way of looking at it. Democratic candidates have won twice without Ohio (it could have been three if Gore really did win Florida), but a Republican never has. There's a reason Trump may win it, but not the presidency, because the state's less diverse, has a population that trends older, and has fewer residents with college degrees. Latinx turnout seems to be energized in states like Florida and Nevada, which may make it more difficult for him to win there.

2016 US Election.
I thought Democrats were voting early at a higher rate than in 2012 in Florida, and Obama still won Florida that election? Florida isn't a must-win state for Clinton anyway, she just needs Pennsylvania, Virginia, Colorado, and New Hampshire or Nevada. She's been polling high in the first four, and Democratic early voting is up in Nevada. He can still win, but saying this incident is definitely going to make her lose is premature. We still don't know what's left on Trump either.

2016 US Election.
They'll most likely just go back to whining and being big racists and sexists on Reddit and Twitter. Having a liberal black man who they viewed as a secret Kenyan America-hating Muslim who they wouldn't accept as legitimate for eight was toughest for them. I think they know that they know deep-down that they're never going to constitute a majority opinion in a country that's becoming increasingly non-white. They'll eventually return to their lily-white social bubbles and echo chamber/safe spaces after plenty of denial and angry shouting.

I know! No "Morse Code" or "You and You Alone"! Music videos are great and all, but what we really want are bonus tracks.

2016 US Election.
I understand the sentiment, but Brexit polls were well within in the margin of error, and wasn't the final result only with 0.5 a percentage point? Clinton is currently 6+ points ahead nationally, and if she's several points ahead in the polls on election days, that's basically a guarantee she'd win. I also want to point that the UK electorate is only 6% non-white, while the US electorate is about 30% non-white, women also vote at a higher rate than men do. The demographics just aren't in Trump's favor. He may have a large rabid base, but outside of that, he's just not popular.

2016 US Election.
Just out of curiosity, why did you think that he'd realistically win the presidency? He's never been ahead in the polling average, except for a brief tie a couple of times. The demographics of the electorate were always against him too. He was never going to win by doing worse than Romney amongst African-Americans, Latinx, and women in general. He still has a greater than zero chance of winning, but that would depend on a sharp decline in minority turnout and a sharp increase in turnout amongst white men without higher education.

I liked Now 94 pretty well, but I don't know if I'll buy any more Now albums since streaming has kind of killed the charts.

Nathan Sykes - 'Unfinished Business'
He's so cute and adorable, but his solo music is pretty meh. I loved The Wanted, and they had music I preferred the most out of any boyband. Well actually, the iTunes previews sound pretty decent, but I obviously liked The Wanted's style much more.

2016 US Election.
Trump trying to court the religious right is laughable, but he has to to have any chance at winning. The way he's taking socially conservative stances on marriage equality and reproductive rights is so fake and transparent. I've read that Trump is actually doing better with evangelicals than Romney did, which is baffling.

2016 US Election.
Where are you getting that notion exactly? The only pollster that has released a poll since the debate is Morning Consult and it has Clinton +3, their previous poll was Trump +1, and this new poll wasn't even conducted entirely after the debate.

2016 US Election.
She's bad at spinning things, but I guess there's only so much she can do to prop up a candidate like Trump. Her "secret Trump voters, that are too embarrassed to admit to pollsters that they're voting for Trump" was hilarious, when she said it when Trump was far behind in the polls. There's no evidence that people lie to pollsters about who they support. Republicans said the polls were going to be wrong in 2008 and 2012, because many white people didn't want to appear racist to pollsters for not supporting Obama, but Obama actually outdid the polling average the past two elections.

2016 US Election.
The consensus seems to be that Clinton remained poised and articulate. Trump was very condescending with his tone and body language, and went off on weird tangents like Rosie O'Donnell, his 10 year-old son being really good with computers, 400-pound hackers, lack of nuance on foreign policy, and spewing out names most people have never heard of. I'm hoping Clinton gets some sort of boost out of this, but obviously its not going to change the minds of people who are already strongly in favor of either candidate. There are still two more debates, and Trump will even try to go more scorched earth on Clinton. I don't know if he'll do well in a town-hall setting though. Also, his double-doubling down on criticizing the former Miss Universe on gaining weight was incredibly stupid.

Delta Goodrem - The River
It's one of the best songs on the album though. It's my personal favorite, along with "Wings" and "Hold On", I'm glad they chose it. I think about any song on the album would make a great single though.

2016 US Election.
It's funny seeing people say she's acting like she's entitled to be President, when it's Trump who's the one acting entitled. Clinton has worked decades in government, not to mention her high academic achievement. Trump is an incurious and unintelligent bogan who was born with a platinum spoon in his mouth, who pretends like he's an outsider and the voice of the commoner, and that he deserves to be President despite no political experience or respect for the office. I'm getting really tired of many white people in my country and their constant backing of the Republican Party and racial stereotypes, and their lack of empathy for any minority. I say this as a 100% white person also, and no, it's not all white people, but it's a very large portion, and enough to possible give the Deplorable Cheeto the keys to the White House.

2016 US Election.
He's already going on about how they're going to be "unfair" to him (i.e. they won't let him just lie and BS and do junior high school style insults for 90 minutes unmoderated). It's so utterly stupid that he's saying Clinton's "basket of deplorables" comment makes her "unfit for the presidency" after all the completely inane comments he's made this election and over the years, plus his awful race-baiting and entertaining of tin-foil hat conspiracy theories. I've abhorred this idiot since his sexist tirade against Rosie O'Donnell in 2007, all because she did this brief slightly exaggerated impression of him on The View. He's such a narcissist that he can't even take a joke or laugh at himself.

2016 US Election.
This election has been the ugliest and most disenchanting in modern US history. I'd be lying if I said I didn't think Trump has a legitimate chance at winning. It's terrifying to think that that amoral racist and sexist vulgarian could succeed Obama as POTUS. I'm still waiting for the debates to gauge Trump's overall chances though, if he even agrees to take part in them.

2016 US Election.
The last two elections had tons of "the polls are wrong" mentality, and claims that pollsters were oversampling Democrats, but none of that ended up being true. Actually, Obama outperformed the polling average both times, and some polls ended up oversampling white voters instead. There's no good evidence that people lie to pollsters about who they support. The Bradley Effect never existed for Obama, and it's unlikely to exist this election. American general election polling has a strong record of being accurate, and state polling has also been highly accurate. The whole "shy Trumpster" talking point is very inane because it's making the assumption that there's a significant number of voters out there too embarrassed to say that they support Trump and that Trump appeals to enough people to win in ways McCain and Romney couldn't. Given Trump's high unfavorables, that's not very likely. Clinton also has high unfavorables, but they're not as bad as Trump's are. Trump could win by getting a plurality of voters, but that's assuming enough people think he's suitable to be President and that he would bring positive change. It also assumes white voter turnout will be up quite a bit and minority turnout will be down. It's not impossible for Trump to win, but if he were to win, in would most likely be shown in the polling average beforehand. Romney won white voters by 20 points, but still lost by about 5 million voters. It's highly unlikely that Trump could perform even worse than Romney among minority voters, but have enough white voters to lead him to victory.

Looking at that theoretical omissions tracklisting made me wonder why they never put "Long Hot Summer" by Girls Aloud on one of the Now Summer spinoffs, it's such a missed opportunity. Poor "Long Hot Summer", it's their only single not to appear on a Now album, and it's one of my personal faves too.

I think those covers make great use of color and design. The current UK covers are great too, but I wouldn't mind a similar design to the South African Now 72 & 73 for future releases.

The tracklist is pretty decent, and the artwork is great. I just wish "The Right Song" was on it, as it charted higher than some of the songs included.

I hate that "Cheap Thrills" and "This Is What You Came For" were both denied the top spot.
