stay away from my song!!!

Confirmed nice and early! Feeling really strongly about my entry, but I also feel like that doesn't mean much because I've flopped with entries I've felt good about before

Oooh, some real standouts being revealed first! Although literally every song sent was really good so

Guaranteed it's a Britney song, they wouldn't have asked Derrick otherwise imo.

Well... :nocheer:

Just sent in my votes! What a lovely bunch of scores, it was super difficult to choose which to point.

Voted!

Sent two entries because I feel like my first choice is dancing on that line between score and soundtrack.

Very excited for this! I know about half of the artists already, but there's quite a lot of songs I've never heard, so I'm ready to sink my teeth into it all!

I feel like the judges were a little harsh with the commercial critiques, but I do agree that Symone and Rose deserved the challenge win. I think Mik deserved to be in the bottom more than Tina, but Mik's look was better so I can see why that saved her. THAT LIPSYNC! I was convinced that they were gonna keep Tina (despite the fact that I love Utica), so when Utica won it, my jaw DROPPED. Not all that sad to see Tina go, though, because she's been getting on my nerves for weeks now personally.

Voted! Semi 2 was super strong again!

Sent a cute lil song! It’s a rock month for me after also going rock in the current edition of BJSC!

Wasn’t trying to make a stink about it, I am just genuinely curious and wish I could sneak a peek at how the conversations go during the veto process in the mod forum!

Always so interesting to see what samples get through via mod discretion. Would love to be a fly on the wall during discussions over songs like that.

someone really chose violence trying to make us all listen to the blessed madonna

I'm truly and honestly 100% worried about the fact that Gottmik will probably be Katya-d this season. She's so red hot with the fans that I really feel like she'll end up getting cut just before the end bc judges' favorites rarely completely match the fans' favorites by this point. I hope I'm wrong (and I haven't read spoilers), but I really feel like that's how she's being set up.

I have to say I've definitely eaten my words. Although I still think A'Whora should've made the top 4 (especially since it's stayed a top 4 into the finale), Ellie has definitely stepped up and showed that she deserves her spot despite being badge-less. I'm happy to see Ellie kinda kick it into high gear for this final stretch, if only she'd done a bit more to really take home a win. This season is Bimini's. There's no question about it really. Unless Bimini shits the bed in this last episode, I can't see a reality where anyone else wins. They better crown Bimini to make up for last season's obvious-from-day-one winner!

I have confirmed an entry, and for the first time in the main contest (I think): AESTHETICA IS GOING ROCK! The song I’m sending is full of rocker chick attitude and includes a sick guitar solo! Really going the opposite of my usual entries with the one.

Didn't really expect much better than that, but it's nice to see Aesthetica in a final again :) Thanks to those who pointed us! Congrats to Altyr Muunilinst on the win, it was very much deserved! Looking forward to the next contest!

Voted!

Nah, her next single/album will come in 2022-2025.

Untucked isn't changing a lot, as someone who watches it weekly. It's just some extra arguments or talking about arguments for the most part, not really making anyone look any different.

I agree with all the points above! I also feel like there were other lip syncs this season that would have made much more sense as a double shantay just based on how good the lip syncs were (like LaLa vs Joey or Kandy vs Tamisha). But I also think that Kandy won that lip sync vs Symone personally, so what do I know?

Well first off, thank you everyone who voted to get Aesthetica through! I expected a DNQ, especially after being late with my votes, so I can't thank you all enough for voting us enough to get through anyway! Won't let ya down with late votes in the final. Sad to see so many foreign-language tracks out, though!

I, however, am ready to leave the thread in a huff when I DNQ! :teresa:
