Entered something, but I have so many potentials this month that I may end up switching it up! Sticking with my gut choice for rn.

This contest was a lot of fun! Maybe the lack of stressing over getting through the semis was what did it. Thanks for hosting, Silas! Congrats dandy!!!

Oh I am SOOOOOOO in!

Aesthetica on track to go from second place to second-to-last! 😂

Voted! Very solid final considering it's a bit of a shorter one this month!

It really tickles me to think that Aesthetica passed the screening process to get in with an act so off-brand for this contest's theming! These young Filipino girls with a sugary sweet summer pop jam outcooled some of y'all already and didn't even have to wait in line to prove themselves!

Whatever guarantees my AQ as second place in the last main contest is where my vote goes!

Current entry is very Grimes x Poppy, but I've also got a summery sweet pop track that I've been toying with sending for a while now. Choices, choices...

Song might be taken, but did an initial confirmation!

Voted!

They've already got disbandment rumors flying, listen to their album and hype them up!!! BloodPop is their executive producer!

It's always been the Jennie and Lisa show featuring Rose and Jisoo. The breakdown of their lyrics isn't even much different. I just think Lisa is getting a bit more camera time than usual bc she's been the most consistently successful soloist, so they're featuring the public's favorite in more random shots. This song is honestly so major and re-ignited my love for this group when I was genuinely feeling like I was past them as a group and ready for their solo careers. Now I know I want both for as long as possible, especially if they're going down a techno-inspired route! This sounds too major!

Gonna need season 2 like immediately bc I have a few artist ideas and I want to be included!!!

My powers of sapphic lust did not win this time around!

THE GREATEST GROUP TO COME OUT SINCE IDEK LIKE GIRLS ALOUD PROBABLY

votes are in

I need to pay closer attention to the genre forums, this sounds like so much fun! Tag me for season 2!!!

My song can't lose or you're all lesbophobic btw!

Any update on the amount of entries so far? 😋

Have something perfect for this I just discovered the other day! Confirmed!

1. Initiate Sequence 01 2. Underground 3. Magic Clock 4. UFO 5. Firetruck 6. Lettuce 7. Sugar Free Venom (feat. Kesha) 8. Television 9. Bow Chika Wow Wow 10. Jump 11. Real Girl

You can make it up to us by giving us your gold medal position in the next contest!!

Now that I'm out of work and can properly respond: thank you so much to everyone who connected with "Underground" enough to give it any points at all. I don't go into this expecting anything anymore because my entries can be so hit-or-miss with the crowd. So to have an entry that resonated enough with so many of you that I was only 8(!!!) points away from a win is absolutely mind-blowing to me. And @Brer saying my entry is one of his favorites of the contest is another wonderful personal accomplishment for me because I know you're not always very into my entries! So getting a friend's stamp of approval feels kinda nice 😅 @Silas A major congratulations to you on the victory! I really enjoyed your entry and I'm honored to be second fiddle to you! Excited to see what you bring for the next contest.

Friends of the BJSC universe, let’s try to get an even number so I can AQ! I can’t flop the semi after such a great final run!

HOLY SHIT I GOT SECOND PLACE THIS IS AMAZING THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR VOTING AESTHETICA!!!! Congrats Silas, a deserved win 💖
