I mean, I got a top 10 within my first year in the contest, so I really have nothing to complain about! I know I can do well when the right song comes along.

I agree, but it will come when the time is right. I know a lot of my taste isn't exactly what the rest of the contest participants are into, so I no longer expect anything and really am just trying to have fun with this again! Even the minimal support I do get on most occasions makes my heart melt, so I appreciate the love

Congrats to everyone qualifying, though! SOOOO happy to see Daehun through, will be rooting for Siren all the way to the end!!

I had a strong feeling I'd DNQ, I've thrown caution to the wind and have given up on "trying" for a hit. I'm on this new wave of sending songs I truly am in love with, and I'm happy that ANYONE liked it even if the song didn't do well this time. There's always Rejects for my songs to get some vindication. I have a feeling my next few entries will be slow burners, but that's fine. Playing the long game this year~

choo choo! that daehun hype train has made it's way through aesthetica! :cheer:

I had a strong feeling that Spun would get chosen for Aesthetica, although I did hope whoever got me would possibly delve into my Asian artists' discographies and find something inspiring. But oh well, I almost sent that myself in place of Housewife Spliffin, so it's definitely awesome to finally see it in a contest!!! Very excited to see how it and my entry in this do comparatively.

well it was said early on in confirmations that the list looked pretty uninspired so far (at that time). maybe all those "uninspiring" songs (aka artist recycles or whatever) ended up in our semi?

Just looking at the semis quickly, they both look like a good mix of genres! Although I am glad to see my Asian sister nations Daehun and Seyetana both with me! Also have lots of love for Cadelicia's entry, so I'm hoping my track will be able to make it through okay. Speaking of Daehun, though, I totally knew that either you or someone else would've sent that track if I didn't! I would have been more surprised to not see it pop up this contest honestly. Not to show favoritism so early on, but I would definitely pick it as a top contender. It's easily Sunmi's best track to date!

super excited to see what everyone has sent, hope this is out today!

Or you could be like me and give empty threats of quitting every time you DNQ

Re-reconfirmed because I remembered that my original reconfirmation was already sent as well!

Re-confirmed with some real funky city pop!

I'll take 2!

Confirmed! Sent something very 80's/synthwave-y and I have high hopes for it :)

sign Aesthetica up!

Welp, that's probably the end of me watching this series. No one else has really interested me much and I originally started watching this one for Natalie.

Really hoping the second season doesn't screw things up. A few episodes just to tie up some loose ends and let us know the immediate future after S1's ending would be perfect, and then let the show rest how it is. I think a second season will be fine, but to go beyond that would really just make it seem like a dire cash grab and truly start to mess up the storyline. I can't see this going past a second season and staying great, but I guess that's up to the writers and producers to figure out!

Congrats on the promotion, hope you enjoy your time on the lounge mod team!!!

Imagine they have another Bad Girl waiting in the wings and they bring her in? I can only imagine the FRENZY that would happen, especially if it's one of the many former Bad Girls who doesn't like her. I know that's wishful thinking, but it truly would be TV gold.

Can't wait to see Natalie's inevitable BLOW UP from all these nominations! It's gonna be a fun few episodes. Do we think they might introduce another houseguest at some point to fill in the spot Stormy Daniels left? I mean, they brought Katie Price in on day 10 in CBB15 (just for one example), so I feel like it's totally possible if they happened to have someone ready/in-mind?

I'm usually really into Pharrell's production, but this album is really just not good. Such a bland follow up to the iconic Dangerous Woman era.

It was my own fault and fully expected! Thanks to those who did vote for me!
