My votes are in. Quite an interesting contest with lots of good tracks, although some people definitely struggled with either "dark" or "pop". But nothing was bad, it was actually quite a solid contest overall!

My most inspired entry to date and I flopped! Going back to pop pandering, that works better for me.

My entry is an artistic social commentary. I'm truly excited to see the response to it, I hope I'm available for the listen through! Might also even be the longest entry I've sent (though nowhere near long song bloc standards).

Pop bloc, I will not be competing with you for entries this month! I have something entirely different from anything I’ve ever sent that I’ve been itching to put out there!

Now I gotta decide if I want to go for something COMPLETELY different from anything I've sent before or if I want to send a banger I know will succeed...

I've been up and down with my feelings about the contest throughout my 6-ish years in it. But I will say that I have really been enjoying the contest a lot again this year! I've really loved all of my entries and think they're some of my best ever (despite their varying degrees of success). I would say I think I enjoy it more than when I started because I am much less stressed about how my entries do. I am purely excited to share the songs I decide on and hope that they resonate with at least one person, because that's enough for me.
