Once it underperforms everyone will be saying it wasn't so good and DSL was better, especially if it say goes 23-68-out.

Not at all, most of my favourite songs of the year aren't chart smashes. It doesn't dictate how much I like a song or not at all.

 

I will stand by it's a better song/video than DSL no matter how well it does or doesn't do.

The song is nowhere near as good as DSL and she has used up all thise curiosity plays on DSL.

 

I'm not sure why so many think this is better than DSL, feels more people really wanting it to be and do better which I get.

Because music is subjective lmao, what one person might not like the other might love. Stop putting words in people's mouths.

 

I'm personally not a Stan to delude myself to like something when it's rubbish, I can admit DSL was okay but ultimately fairly boring with little replay value. This has more personality, a proper book and better production value and showcases her as a star - a shame it doesn't look like this will be a hit for the time being though but then you look at generic stuff like Prada and faceless dance songs that the public eat up at every opportunity so idk.

That's v disappointing for Leigh-Anne :( was really hoping for a BIT better. I think a low Top 40 peak is on the cards now.

I applaud her for creating such awfully generic fiat 500 love island music and having no personality/excitement to her songs and making them hits! Good for her.

She truly ATE with that video omg, I don't understand why they went with DSL as the lead - this shows a much clearer direction, personality and the song itself is stronger with a decent hook to it. I hope it can still be a rightful big hit for her!

Where was Don't Say Love at this point?

Was hoping Bongos would do okay yikes, maybe it'll do better on Spotify. I really don't think they built much hype with it though like WAP and it's not as good - I'd actually prefer if it was just a Megan song.
