thanks bt, looks like his agents in US arent much better than those here - Darius says he doesnt know what he will be doing half the time, so its down to them I would suppose..to double book is not good, he cant let the jazz club down as he seems to be a regular, and that is important, but the other gig is too - he needs to do live performances as much as possible so if he has to cancel one that is another missed opportunity surely, it annoys me over here, but to be happening at the start of his US appearances is more so

the thing is we are in a time of the unknown, its only been a short time since people lived the way we do, populations so large, kids being kids so much longer, not needing to take responsibility or perish like the millenia before, the increase in young men full of testosterone and nowhere to let out their aggression, not many battles these days -people feeling they are too good to work 9 til 5, or do menial work...youngsters want it all, now and without working for it, bombarded with what you could have, consumerism gone mad - after all they have been told through media,adverts that you need it all, and work is for losers, that you need to respect them and be powerless to discipline them - as a mum i know even the best kids try it on and need keeping in their place and to know why we need morals an responsibility - and to know they have family security and support -nowadays we have kids bringing up their kids without family structures or security , I despair watching jeremy kyle lol the fact is many girls have kids purely to get benefits, homes - the men dont need to be bread winners, they rely on their women to be given the homes - the women have no need to worry about having kids with steady partners..as the homes,benefit money is in the women's names - you could see this coming years back, i have a neighbour like it, and i can see their little kids have no chance, breaks my heart seeing them in the middle of the disfunctional family lives, no child should have to witness what they do, there is no self discipline in the mother or partner, the four kids have been fathered by three different men,they act like teenagers and do not work but drink all day and row all night- and i can see when their kids grow up they will have been scarred - the poor wee mites dont know what to expect from day to day tbh.

yup, not much older than my eldest, such a shame as when she first started out she had a bright future, wasnt she on the same label as Darius at the start? she was obviously very disturbed, yet the music scene seemed almost to feed off her unhappiness

depressing, the sun had full pagespread about elderflower and pstops, i dont recall much at all about darius...and no mention of himwining last series in the articles,its as if this was the first series.... contestants releasing new albums, record deal, it just makes me bitter....more bitter that is lol
