same here, bt - i would have likedcrazy love to have stronger verses, melody wise esp as the chorus is so melodic and soaring, i feel left a bit wanting during the verses..

yes, would be lovely to hear him sing make it easy now.... i also loved falling slowely, another one i was watching lately, beautiful falsetto, especially after hearing using his deep range so often now. plus it makes me giggle as he is just so sweet and funny about the sinking stool. hubby still rubs it in that we could have managed covent garden that day, but i thought he would only sing one or two songs at most..so talked my self out of it

i was only watching that this morning, lovely, loved his hair so watching on two levels..lol i was wondering how he would sound now doing that, now his voice has developed even more...

agree about the expense of paying out for more people or effects - how much does a theatre cost for a night? I suspect they work on a tight margin as it is, I was happy that Darius sang more in the second show - the more he is on the stage singing - the more I like it!!! and while i am at it, just had to enjoy this video again

could do - perhaps while darius is narrating, or when the big band is playing on their own, that would not distract too much perhaps..would for example have been nice to see footage of Glenn Miller while they were playing St Lious march? forgotten the title at present, its difficult isnt it - I was quite happy with having just Darius up there and the band backing him

lol, I just love the way he is so focused and mature, then all excited- hyper after the exhileration of the show. I love that he is always so excited about what he does.

mere people on stage?at tables..oh no, no,no - I am only just about allowing Nova to share - I wouldnt want anyone else cluttering up my view of Darius up there. I see they may be trying to add the bar room feel, but with the band as well..if it was said that it would be bigger and better perhaps they are trying out things. I may like to volunteer ot be one of the people if they are looking for the public to sit there..

watching the vids on the chaps channel, tc,dsb and dc - honestly, trying from the point of view of not knowing who they are etc..i like darius' best tbh, the deep clear crispess of his vocals and performance just stands out over the orchestra more actually makes more impact for being deeper, plus the way he connects on a personal level, talkig to the audience and ackowledging the ochestra conducor stands out. all in all if people are seeing these videos - a job well done.

beats me, at least she says he sings it well - perhaps too much Shirley waving her arms around and being a bit OTT has biased he, she seems to be quite a fan, who would have liked the whole tribute ot be done by Shirley LOL- I think he probably did it this way to contrast Shirley, it would have been a bit much all competing on th ebelting it out dramatic way -I think hey jude suits this approach myself, but then thats just my opinion.

well we only went due to me wanting to see where darius lived, had always said it was too far before..it was a very very long drive with the four kids in the savanna lol, it was worth it, we did lot of driving seeing as much as possible. we are determined to get there again, must remember to avoid midge season if poss

its amazingly clear and loud isnt it- things have moved on since our video recorder..must think about getting a new one , ours was like carrying a brick, they are tiny these days
