listening again on the radio site, and if you go away and from russia really are wonderful, the emotion in if you go away is tangible, and yup i was thinking of toreador..lol i did think it was spanish while he was singig but my grasp of language isnt great. he really was worthy of being on that stage, i have no doubt he opened some eyes to his voice with those performances, wish we could have seenhim too, as he has such stage presence visually too which adds even more

really enjoyed listening, Darius was exceptional -the frank sinatra was good - but was doing frank sinatra LOL the musical theatre take of the ohters just didnt work for me, it was lie listening to search for a joseph or something - very musical theatre. I would buy a CD too, just fro Darius. if you go away wasso brilliant, thought it was spanish - as he has that proper soft back of the throat spanish accent off to a tee - so felt confused whenmeg mentioned french..LOL I thought how novel singig french with that prnounced spanish accent

oh wow - that last song, I need that on CD - Darius was fantastic - but musical theatre stylee from a couple? the jersy boy one - OH said Born free meets lion king! I would have loved D singing that, as for MM son? mm - I suppose they couldnt refuse

sounds great, although Darius didnt seem to sweat that much at St Albans, perhaps off stage he was getting wiped off! though it has been close the last few days. It was an lder audience at th eshow we saw too, but then again that makes sense as younger people probably arent drawn to a big band per say, OH was commenting that there isnt that much around for the older person like this - saying that dairus could find a ncihe as the good swing singers/crooners are all dead or getting old

I am really looking forward to a professional DVD!! and CD2 - and I too hope there may be more than three Darius tracks on it.

I rather like Darius talking dirty, - bless, its hardly swearing - just mispronounced bullocks..made me laugh when they said he shouldnt say that word, when the rest of the show is going on about sex etc -and trying to be liberal

aww, well that's Darius for you, he isnt the usual "star" am wondering what the audition was for....

I hope she can get over it - it never ceases to amaze me , the bias of some interviewers against and towards people, oh well
