  1. well if they make the most of the prince charming part, it will be great. and a nice earner, I beleive the stars down here at the Swan get up to 100,000 for the run.. it all goes down to an experience after all, I suppose its that I just know out of all the actors who do panto and the big stars who love doing them - the media is sure to choose Darius to belittle. I too would go to see this is if was nearer,
  2. nice to see the pics, thanks, FC - the film got a pasting on newsnight reviews - very bad evidently
  3. it will only be a guest appearance, surely prince charming in snow white is a small role, on and off? less even than the one in cinderella - does he even speak? cant recall its been years since I saw a snow white panto

lovely pics, so glad they let us see them too. I am so grateful I changed my mind and went for the seats I did, I would have been behind the orchestra too, these pics show a different view point which is lovely
  6. mm, I saw Brian connelly as Buttons in cinderella at the swan theatre in wycombe, he was very funny tbh. the prince well...it was played by someone or other unknown as it wasnt a huge part. not a lot of scope in that role lol shane richie played aladin last year at the Swan, with his two sons as his brothers that was great fun and again very funny, some tall asian looking chap who used to be in eastenders played the baddie and tbh I thought Darius would have been great in that role!! very sexy he was but that versus Barrowman and the Krankies..no contest if I was in glasgow, Prince charming wins - obviously this will pay well, but panto?? the jibes will flow - not for Barrowman(he who can do no wrong) ..but jedwood are doing one as well LOL then again garath did cinderella ..and he is now in les mis..so...

a nice article, and I agree with it, it seems someone with an apparently honest view. except I loved the pony tail...all good matadors have them afterall

yup, I am afraid I am spitting bricks at that article I cannot beleive he out and out did a hatchet job on Darius for no good reason but to prove a point, after his rant about PSTOPS - there was no other reason for that rubbish - 3 second clap? oh dear, I may get a pair of stilletos...

they searched our bags too, although I did show him the binoculars as I was worried in case he thought they were a camera. as for that article..if I ever see that man in any theatre I am in, my heel may well land on his toes

thats wonderful, thanks for posting that - I wondered if there would be any coverage somewhere well I'll add stephens tweet here..evidently they had a great time! tweeted stephen from blake to enquire about them being at mecedes benz today..I asked if Darius did any driving got this back StephenBowman @denie49 You kidding, @dariusofficial was a demon on the racetrack today;) he was drifting on the circular skidpan like a pro in a E63 AMG!

I have to toally agree, BP - OH was nodding off through out, and I was wishing I had brough ear protectors for some of the womens notes - no doubt I am not cultured enough to appreciate Opera..or its another case of emporers new clothes syndrome!! I just took as I found.. and found it very basic even if the orchestra was good, I feel GWTW would have been great in that arena - and so much more to the story rather than as my OH put it, a fifteen minute plot and a few songs about not much stretched to three hours!! it was only Darius that sparked some interest for me - I am considering a new phone, as I noticed people were using theirs to snap away, I have to say I had a great view for Darius as I had my binoculars and made full use of them when he was on stage! I am glad I did, as his expressions were great, I especially loved the duet with Carmen - just I was secretly hoping he would get some photos in his get up like he did with GWTW as Rhett!!

what else do we expect, after the abuse he gave PSTOPS and the disgust he conveyed for non operatic singers singing opera- anything approaching praise fo Darius after that stance would have stuck in his throat..I do hope something does, possibly whatever is stuck in his earholes, coz his review of Darius' performance bears no resemblance to what I witnessed!!!

just read some tweets from Faryl..the young classical singer, she says she is at mecedes benz world with Blake and darius promoting their concert, she went to see Darius on sunday in carmen. I didnt realise she is only 14

mm, odd to reference Darius..and not to state whihc performance they saw, I thought they meant sundays show, and I didnt see tens of poeple leaving..or think th esound etc was like described. luckily our seats were great, the woman at ticketmaster said we would have a marvelous view of th estage, and we did, but to cater for every seat?? a big ask, I too hoped for more bull fighting, but was put in mind of GWTW..the way they chose to portray it . we are tempted by the Benz concert, OH reckons MT and classical concerts is the way to go, he got bored with the opera. its a case of getting there..sems the parking isnt cheap and they reccomend not to drive, so depends on the train service..and perhaps cheaper tickets, it seems pricey at present for the ramshackle pics I have seem of the concerts there, so many people, will ponder that one. such a shame we didnt meet, and that we had ot leave so quickly, but glad you had a lovely time after the show, Darius is so thoughtful

another tweet, ... Speaking of Carmen, Darius was really good I thought. As well as the voice he's got such great stage presence & looks not too shabby either

LOL I knew you said opposite block..but was peering over to the wrong opposite, I didnt see Pam althoguh I was pointing out block 114? to where the more expensive seats I was offered were..and saying how good our seats were, right on the corner next to the aisle. as said it was so big I couldnt pick out faces, I am glad I wasnt up on the upper tiers though, some people were having trouble getting down the steps next to us as it was! I was all in white..so proably looked like a ghost, but did need a cardi in the arena due to the air conditioning

thanks, megham, the pictures are great. I didnt take a camera as it said none allowed, but lots were using their phones. perhaps an excuse for a new one, as the camera on mine is next to useless its so outdated - shame we didnt see you, I thought I recognised chris, but not sure..not sure enough to make myself look a twit going up and asking. LOL we had a look as we walked round seeing if there was a place we fancied eating, but didnt recognise anyone. we didnt even realise you could go in the back way, unitil we were in the arena and saw people coming up the steps that way. I thought Darius did himself proud, totally looked the part, I love him singing like this, but dont like opera per say.

his own music, but phantom is my dream too, can see him with that rich voice in that mask, would like some of his own music too mind you, dont suppose there is a picture of Darius in that matador getup...my binoculars were glued to my eyes , he looked abolsutely amazing!!! a total adonis tbh.
