I hope Stuart gives her some quality tracks like he did for Madonna's "Confessions On A Dance Floor". I know how much Kylie loves Madonna, so there is no way she is gonna expect anything less from Stuart!! Can't wait to hear those tracks!! I am still upset at her that she didn't release "Like A Drug" though----I would have loved to see that video!!

Great album!! I am still listening to it regularly. It has been the only CD I have been playing in my car the last two weeks actually, so it is funny that I saw this thread today. I feel that my favorite parts of the album were Heidi's parts, even though I love all the girls. My favorite parts are: Heidi--"Turn the lights down low, turn the lights down low.." part in the beginning of "Gotta Be You" Heidi--her breakdown part which starts with "Baby all I'm trying to say is that my heart is here to hold you" on "Follow Me Home" Amelle--"Don't need candlelight to make u stay over" part on "Red Dress" I love the entire "It Ain't Easy"---great beat!! So powerful. Also, "Ace Reject" and "Now You're Gone" are two great songs! This is one of my favorite albums of all the music I own....I never get sick of these songs and this album!!

These games are so whack sometimes. Did you notice this Theryl guy is the only one who voted for Boy Like U and that is why it is out? Just because he doesn't like it doesn't mean the rest of us don't. U should have voted for other songs too Theryl and kept it fair!!

I live in the US too and I totally agree. U really have to live here regularly to realize what will do well and what won't. Trust me-I am not into half of the garbage that is considered "great music" and cracks the top 10 here. I actually listen to more music overseas than the music here. 3 Words as a single would not do well here---it is too bland for the US pop radio stations. I have heard her album and the songs that would do the best are "Stand Up" as the lead single, then release "Boy Like U" and "Fight For This Love" as the final single. This would be the best shot at her having some success. She also has to have big performances and catch people's attention here. Also, as a side note, Girls Aloud would not do well here in the US. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but their type of campy music wouldn't take off here. That was more for the 90s when Spice Girls were hot here---not anymore. Same thing with Sugababes--they are one of my favorite groups and would love for them to make it big here, but they wouldn't do well in the US either. But I do hope that Cheryl comes here and tries to make it---I welcome as many acts overseas to try it here as possible--the US needs more great music like there is overseas!! PLEASE HELP US!!! :cheer:

Just saw the concert last nite.....BRILLIANT......she has a new performance of Paparazzi where she is hung by hoops and dragged around the stage while singing.....MY FAVORITE PART OF THE CONCERT...you guys have to go see it.....she is the next MADONNA!!

I live in the US and I was so pissed that her record label decided to release "All I See" as the lead single for America. Couldn't they see that it would bomb? Should have released something like "Like A Drug", "Wow", "The One" or "In My Arms". It's like they just didn't even think about it for a second before they released it. AND SURPRISE--THE ALBUM FLOPPED IN THE US!! I was disappointed because I really wanted her to do well.

The only songs I like are She Wolf, Long Time and Spy. I think Spy could and should be a future single. The only part of GIU2M that I like is the beat with Wayne's lyric and when Shakira is saying "Tim, Are you on it? Tim, Are you on it?" Other than that, not into the song. And why would they make Shakira do moves like she is in a black sorority? It just looked weird with her doing it.

I totally agree. Do the record companies even listen to the radio anymore and strategize before they release singles in the US? Obsessed, Up Out My Face, and Candy Bling would have all done well. As far as ballads, the only two which would have been played is Angels Cry and It's A Wrap.

If you heard the type of music they play here on American radio, I think it would be played alot here. That actually isn't a compliment to American radio. I love Candy Bling and it would chart very well here. It has a smooth sound and her vocals are great on it, I think.

I really don't get why people are into this song.....it is a snooze-fest and boring......Angels Cry (would do well like We Belong Tegether) , Candy Bling, Up Out My Face, or It's A Wrap (reminds me of Shake It Off and this would do well with a good video).

I am really surprised Candy Bling hasn't been listed more. I thought that was a fan favorite.

Follow Me Home---love the song and the video is very beautiful to me......maybe because I am from the US and have never been overseas....it makes me dream about being there and feeling all of the beauty that the eastern side of the world has to offer. (So jealous of you guys who live over there--appreciate it!!! I wish I could!!!!)

I think it was hit or miss for the singles.....I was actually discussing this with my boyfriend....I think the problem is (at least in the US), whenever she comes out with a CD, it is like "Beyonce overboard" on TV shows and interviews. If you want people to keep interest in you, you shouldn't be on EVERY TV show, EVERY awards special performing, and doing EVERY magazine interview that you can. It is like she over-saturates the market that after a while, you start to get sick of her. Don't get me wrong--I love her music, but when you hear the song over and over again, it gets old. Also, she seems to do the same performance of a particular song----if she changed up her performances like Madonna does, I would be more interested in catching her when she is on. Even on the old DC songs, she does the same performance in her concerts and on TV. Anyways, she had some good hits. I am surprised that Diva didn't do better because the song is powerful and the video was cool. She lost me with "Ego". That should have NEVER been released--horrible song. Should have released "Disappear" instead.

I heard the interview today. She was funny as usual. He kept saying he wants to get a date with her. He was joking about how shocked he is that she only has one boyfriend and he wants the provocative and naughty Madonna that she used to be. She talked about moving from the "castle" in London (Ryan called it a castle and she laughed). She said "she lost it" which must mean that Guy got it. Then she said she is living in a shoebox now in NY ( I was laughing because what she thinks is a shoebox to me is probably the most beautiful penthouse in the world). He talked to her about her workout schedule and she said that he is interrupting her workout schedule right now. Ryan also said that she looks like she had an "after sex" glow on her face. She said NO, I didn't have sex this morning. The whole interview was funny. It was a very good interview---Madge always delivers. She was very good on Letterman too.....she came in looking all diva with an all black dress, hot black high heels and black sunglasses. Someone today compared her to Joan Crawford by the way she looked.
