Sabrina is 2K ahead, not really a chart battle, she extended the lead from yesterday Huge for Yungblud then, was expecting more from Haim but hopefully they at least reach 15K was also expecting double from Benson
  2. My top 3 were James Blake, Chrches and Addison (i think) Surprised Chvrches got so many, love the song but was quite aternative!

Oh wasn't expecting Olivia to be officially credited, nice one

oh nice high entry for sam fender
  5. yay! not the biggest fan of the early 80s but gonna give it a try, love the 80s but mainly from Madonna on ;)
  6. The patterns of Ed's songs on Amazon are so weird like Sapphire, first week, doing poorly all week stable at around 40, moving 40-37-42-37-etc all week week 1 finishes, next update Sapphire mysteriously climbs 42-4... and has been stable top 5 since then if you think that's ok, no point discussing
  7. wow, this was straight at #5 in the US Spotify yesterday with 1 million streams, guess Tik-tok wonder if this can be a UK hit too
  8. Kim Wilde has so many great tracks, Another Step, You Came, Never trust a stranger, You keep me hanging on, Four letter word the early 80s singles I don't care so much, they're just ok, Kids in America is a classic but much prefer the late 80s stuff Eurythmics were one of the best bands of the 80s, no doubt. So many classics. My #1 from them is The miracle of love <3 but also love Here comes the rain, Thorn in my side, Sweet dreams, Don't ask me why, There must be an angel,... also a big fan of Shame, which sadly flopped Lionel Richie, not a fan at all
  9. Guess that's why she posted a video on IG a few weeks ago driving while listening to Diet Pepsi! <3
  10. what makes the Ed songs more of a flop is how their success is 100% due to Alexa/Amazon, all have done poorly on Spotify, but paying Alexa to play the song every 5 minutes kinda helps :)

oh my Yungblod has cazillions of physical variants, it's crazy, he's either gonna be #1 or bankrupt his label :D

  14. oh Depeche Mode one of the best bands ever. Much prefer their 90s stuff, especially Violator and Ultra but they also had some gems in the 80s, Strangelove, Never let me down, Everything Counts, Behind the wheel, Personal Jesus PSB were fantastic from West End Girls to Left to my own devices. After that imperial phase, they became very average and quickly run out of ideas. George Michael, I like, but don't love, never bought any of albums. Not a fan of his early singles, Careless whisper, A different corner, I Want your sex... but he has some great ballads like One more try, Father figure, You have been loved...
  15. Newbies 4 combined Sam Fender 63 Rossi, Jazzy 66 SOmbr - We never dated 72 Benson. I’d rather haim but i think benson will be #1
  18. Lol at people pretending they all Knew Pink Pony in 2020, 3 people knew it before last year lol at least its an anthem and a great song so dont mind how long it stays unlike the Ordinary anti-anthem Wonder when people rediscovered Summer of 69, cos Nobody cared when it originally came out in the 80s, the UK were bizarrely slow in appreciating Bryan until 91

The album is too long and needed trimming, some songs are b sides at best

Oh love it and love how down to earth the lyrics are, young girls get horny too :o think this works as album opener rather than as single

    Very dangerous x Sombr :/
  23. It's track #29 on NMF UK Just seen it already charted this week, the solo version. Guess that means Olivia is not gonna be credited :/
  24. Soft Cell had a couple singles that I really liked, Say hello wave goodbye and of course Tainted Love, the rest I didn't like them so much. Dexy's, not a fan. OMD I like, but not love.
  25. No Surprises should have been #1 instead of the Beatles pastiche :o But guess top 5 was already quite the achievement for the album's 3rd single. It's one of my fav songs ever, also an amazing song to play if you're musically inclined, the chord progression is really great. The lyrics are also great, love the line about the job that slowly kills you... All Around the World didn't deserve the #1, same as D'you know what I mean earlier... that's non-1's on name alone. The only good songs on Be Here Now are Stand by Me and Don't go away, which should have been single #3 loved the Catatonia song. That also should have been #1 over the meh Usher song in an ideal world...
