  2. oh my Lorde! 71 What was that 73 Ribs really not sure what to make of it nice to see Calvin holding up well, the title track from Sleep Token not holding half bad either

Gary Barlow-Forever Love is the definition of dullness, it's not bad like some other songs mentioned, just plain dull with no redeeming factor whatsoever

after reading all replies think hands down the winner is Gary Barlow - Forever Love
  5. All 350,000 know that for certain, 100% of them
  6. Jut seen that Sombr has released an official video for Undressed, so hopefully that helps him to go top 3/5 this week officially.
  7. oh Technotronic and even Sydney Youngblood were pretty close to the #1 sales Meh at a new Jive Bunny starting at #4 Billy Joel the best of the newbies but more like than love and that Milli Vanilli song ouch terrible one. I genuinely liked some of their songs, especially their debut and Blame it on the rain, but Girl I'm gonna miss you is too sappy.
  8. course correction after the awful fake-country one
  9. while the top 10 is really lacking in great songs for me, many great classics inexplicably failed to make the top 10 at the time, including: Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus, peaked at #13. Never understood that. Such a strong single from DM, how could this miss the top 10? Too controversial? The Cure - Lovesong, "only" made it to #18. This is the follow-up to Lullaby and deserved top 10 too. The US got it right as Lovesong became their biggest hit ever peaking at #2 Kate Bush- The Sensual World, peaking at #12, the lead of her first album in 3 years Incidentally, I recall Robert Smith mentioning it was his favourite song
  10. Calvin now #7 on Apple!! also #39 on Amazon
  11. Same, I was expecting double than what they've done :o at least in the US they have a couple tracks > 1 million...
  12. yes hard call on how to classify Memphis sessions. I mean, 5 re-worked versions of tracks from their debut album + 3 newies it's a sorta compilation, per wiki, and I kinda agree
  13. Personally I find them both very very disappointing. I actually really liked Wet Wet Wet's previous era and thought all their 4 first hits were great but this is not as good... Bros already lost me with Too Much and this is similarly bad but @Gezza isn't Holding back the river Wet Wet Wet's 2nd rather than 3rd? Always though Popped In was their debut, unless I'm missing something?
  14. Highest Sleep Token song is the title track at #9 with 255K
  15. Just checked and Madonna in the US did: Like a prayer (1), Express yourself (2), Cherish (2) Bit of a step down from True Blue, which gave her 3 US #1s with Live to tell, Papa dont preach and Open your heart Same result actually in the Uk although the 3 #1s from True blue were Papa dont preach, True blue and La isla bonita
  16. A list of album releases Does spotify also have that?

  18. Amazon: 5 Benson - Mystical magical 8 Old phone 11 Undressed 28 Back to friends 30 Lorde 31 PinkPantheress - Illegal 57 Calvin - Blessings
  19. Calvin now at #27 on Apple really thought the Sleep Token album would be doing better, highest song at #48 on Apple
  20. never liked Drama, was a very very very disappointing return for me after the 3 amazing singles from The Innocents much prefer You keep it all in, another great one from The Beautiful South
  21. Help the Aged definitely the highlight!! Also love Never Ever and insane that it did >100K and "only" went at #3 least fav has to be the Celine/Barbra duet, what a non-song :)
  22. He also announced his new album out Aug 29 called Roll with the Punches no big label now, released on his own Rocker, singer/songwriter Bryan Adams has announced his brand new album Roll With The Punches. Adams’ 17th studio album is his first full length record of brand new material to be released via his own independent label Bad Records. Roll With The Punches will be available on vinyl, CD, 2XCD (including acoustic bonus disc), Deluxe Boxset and digitally on August 29th 2025 and is available to pre-order now here. With the album announcement, Adams has released a brand new song ‘Never Ever Let You Go’. This is the third release taken from his upcoming album, and the single has been released along with a roller coaster of a video starring actor Elizabeth Hurley. This banger of track sees him teaming up once again with longtime co-writer Mutt Lange. ‘Never Ever Let You Go’ follows hot on the heels of his most recent hit single ‘Make Up You Mind’ which has been enjoying Radio 2 A-List rotation for over a month. Roll With The Punches also features the critically acclaimed title track, a high-octane rocker, which sets the pace for the album by tearing out of the blocks as the opening track on the record.
