  1. Calvin now at #27 on Apple really thought the Sleep Token album would be doing better, highest song at #48 on Apple
  2. never liked Drama, was a very very very disappointing return for me after the 3 amazing singles from The Innocents much prefer You keep it all in, another great one from The Beautiful South
  3. Help the Aged definitely the highlight!! Also love Never Ever and insane that it did >100K and "only" went at #3 least fav has to be the Celine/Barbra duet, what a non-song :)
  4. He also announced his new album out Aug 29 called Roll with the Punches no big label now, released on his own Rocker, singer/songwriter Bryan Adams has announced his brand new album Roll With The Punches. Adams’ 17th studio album is his first full length record of brand new material to be released via his own independent label Bad Records. Roll With The Punches will be available on vinyl, CD, 2XCD (including acoustic bonus disc), Deluxe Boxset and digitally on August 29th 2025 and is available to pre-order now here. With the album announcement, Adams has released a brand new song ‘Never Ever Let You Go’. This is the third release taken from his upcoming album, and the single has been released along with a roller coaster of a video starring actor Elizabeth Hurley. This banger of track sees him teaming up once again with longtime co-writer Mutt Lange. ‘Never Ever Let You Go’ follows hot on the heels of his most recent hit single ‘Make Up You Mind’ which has been enjoying Radio 2 A-List rotation for over a month. Roll With The Punches also features the critically acclaimed title track, a high-octane rocker, which sets the pace for the album by tearing out of the blocks as the opening track on the record.
  5. Yay at double Lorde <3

oh love it, might even be my fav season, love all the characters especially the girl that used to be in Sex Education and of course also Parker Possey, big fan of her since her indie days in the 80s and 90s films
  13. The "already died" thing up to #62 :/
  14. Oh I always wondered why Dido-All you want never charted
  15. oh my someone stop Getta from releasing more covers
  16. at the rate it's going Last Christmas could grab the record for more weeks at #1 (non-consecutive) but actually a tiktok hit ala ordinary could get the record for more consecutive weeks at #1 considering how slow things are nowadays and the slow pace at which new songs are coming up
  17. oh always thought Bryan Adams had the record for weeks at #1? EDIT: I see he has the record for consecutive weeks
  18. I see, for me, as someone growing up in Spain, there was no option cos record stores only had LPs not singles at least in the town where I lived, maybe in the big big cities Luckily I was living very close to the border with France and there all supermarkets had lots of singles so it was a matter of convincing my parents to drive to Spain for some shopping :D
  19. why did you all buy the Jason single and didn't buy the album instead? :)
  20. Agree with this. At his peak in 89 Jason was the biggest chart force and he briefly eclipsed even Kylie in popularity —but his time at the top didn't last long (unlike Kylie), in 1 year he was was gone Will be interesting to see which album does better in 89, Ten Good Reasons or Kylie's Enjoy yourself, we'll see soon I guess
  21. Really like Right Here Waiting, about time he got a UK hit. I kinda liked some of the singles from his debut His discography up to this point in the US was incredible: Don't mean nothing/3 Should've known better/3 Endless summer nights/2 Hold on to the nights/1 Satisfied/1 Right here waiting/1 I also like Tina Turner's The Best. A bit of a classic.
  22. oh love love love this!

  25. HH ruined the chances of many songs back in the day especiallyby female singers no longer in their prime, a bit Radio 1-esque But agree theres no alternative to tiktok to introduce new songs
