  1. The "already died" thing up to #62 :/
  2. Oh I always wondered why Dido-All you want never charted
  3. oh my someone stop Getta from releasing more covers
  4. at the rate it's going Last Christmas could grab the record for more weeks at #1 (non-consecutive) but actually a tiktok hit ala ordinary could get the record for more consecutive weeks at #1 considering how slow things are nowadays and the slow pace at which new songs are coming up
  5. oh always thought Bryan Adams had the record for weeks at #1? EDIT: I see he has the record for consecutive weeks
  6. I see, for me, as someone growing up in Spain, there was no option cos record stores only had LPs not singles at least in the town where I lived, maybe in the big big cities Luckily I was living very close to the border with France and there all supermarkets had lots of singles so it was a matter of convincing my parents to drive to Spain for some shopping :D
  7. why did you all buy the Jason single and didn't buy the album instead? :)
  8. Agree with this. At his peak in 89 Jason was the biggest chart force and he briefly eclipsed even Kylie in popularity —but his time at the top didn't last long (unlike Kylie), in 1 year he was was gone Will be interesting to see which album does better in 89, Ten Good Reasons or Kylie's Enjoy yourself, we'll see soon I guess
  9. Really like Right Here Waiting, about time he got a UK hit. I kinda liked some of the singles from his debut His discography up to this point in the US was incredible: Don't mean nothing/3 Should've known better/3 Endless summer nights/2 Hold on to the nights/1 Satisfied/1 Right here waiting/1 I also like Tina Turner's The Best. A bit of a classic.
  10. oh love love love this!

really expected, Doohan must have had huge sponsor to get those races in the first place, but not sure if he was F1 material

it's super subjective but alas... Maroon 5 - Payphone Scouting for Girls - This is a love song Jess Glyne - Don't be so harsh, I'll be there Lewis Capaldi - Forget me, Wish you the best Ed Sheeran - Eyes closed, Beautiful people Beatles - Now an dthen :)
  13. HH ruined the chances of many songs back in the day especiallyby female singers no longer in their prime, a bit Radio 1-esque But agree theres no alternative to tiktok to introduce new songs
  14. At this point I guess Jason was even more popular than Kylie? Debuting top 3 with a post-album single is no easy feat I thought the Jason single was ok, nothing crazy good but ok. One very frustrating thing for me is that I bought Jason's album, mostly cos I loved Especially for you, but then the EU edition of the album didn't have it, I guess for legal reasons or something, so my album doesn't have it :/
  15. OK Computer is such a masterpiece Let Down is an 11/10 of a song but still probably not on my top 5 from that album for me, 1 No surprises 2 Karma police 3 Climbing up the walls 4 Paranoid android 5 Lucky 6 Let down
  16. Oh wow, that’s so random—it’s not even a single, just an album track. But it’s nice to see TikTokers appreciating something other than Creep for once.
  17. That Ely Oaks newbie straight at #81 on a Sunday is kinda suspicious, only down a few places today
  18. Oh thats very random for Let Down but very welcomed <3 a lost classic is it tiktok? I see Undressed at #3, a new peak? The othr Sombr song is at #6
  19. #36 debut in the US

agree, very frustrating, especially against Ruud, who is mediocre at best and who has been losing against anyone in recent times
  21. Love it! and glad it's another (mini) hit for her
  22. just an example of the diminished power of HH to make hits nowadays... they have Bluest Flame as track #2 on HH and the song is at... #170 on Spotify...
  23. At the rate he's going he's gonna release half the album as pre-album singles by the time it comes out everybody's gonna scream "Stop" or "Eject" rather than "Play" hahaha :D lol people comparing Ed to Elton. If Elton released a brand new solo single this Friday, it would be track #27 on NMF, would not be added to any playlist whatsoever and wouldn't make the Spotify top 200 for all the money in the world.
  24. For me, kinda the opposite, never liked The Seeds of Love, too AOR, they totally lost the vitality they had in the first 2 albums this sounds like a bad Beatles pastiche to me
  25. Old Phone down to #175 on day 3! Unbelievable!
