  1. I guess you needto be older to really enjoy dance music cosI never got into Black Box, Technotronic etc as a kid Was into pop, indie, rock, even new-age like Enya, but dance I never got it as a kid, dont think i ever bought a dance album until Prodigy
  2. But why the thread title is about bribing reviewers lol If it werre so easy, Ed Sheeran wouldnt get a 2 on Pitchfork for every album Or even worse, his last album wasn’t even reviewed. If there was a chance of bribing at least he’d get the album reviewed

Lawson deserved far more than a 5 sec penalty. He's a proper danger. My least fav driver in the grid for sure.
  4. also great indie underground artist fav is The Tallest Man on Earth, the Swedish Bob Dylan ;)
  5. ^You didn't notice, this forum has now become the Ed Sheeran fanclub page no one can say anything negative about Ed 177K is another underperfomance from Ed, but at least this time we were all prepared and not expecting much so no surprises
  6. Is she no longer with Atlantic? cos I see on Spotify it says: High Roads Records guess this is Kelly's own, so no huge budget for anything, not even for shopping around for songs
  7. 177K for Old Phone, not amazing, but at least it's helping Azizam up
  8. Just realised that yesterday Ordinary reached #1 on the US Spotify for the first time Angels up in the clouds must be properly jealous now. Sombr-Undressed also top 5 on US Spotify
  9. loved Siobhan in Bananarama and was a big fan of Shakespeares Sister since day 1 I really liked You Break my Heart but You're History was miles better and a well deserved hit oh I actually though PSB had written Losing my mind for Liza Minelli SAW starting to go really cheap with cover bands like Big Fun
  10. I think it was a big pity she gave up on music so quickly, think in 91 or 92 she said the pressure was too much and gave it all up and never released anything again after album 2 (I think)-
  11. exactly who cares about AOTY? No one at all, deranged fans a go-go check Metacritic instead
  12. this album has got pretty bad reviews especially from the serious press, Pitchfork gave it a 4.8 a 4.8 on Pitchfork means worst album of the year territory, even the crappiest albums get a 5 or 6 Also other serious press like The Guardian or The Telegraph or Mojo or the Independent the only high scores are from outlets I've never ever herd in my life and that sound very low key the previous album from 2021 I think was genius but here there is a serious serious drop in quality imho

AM unfroze now and Ed is up to #50
  14. Poison was clearly from the same guy that was writing for Bon Jovi, great song Toy Soldiers is great, loved Martika back then and thought she was gonna have a great career ala Madonna I notice one of my fav songs of the year peaking at #14 this week, Transvision Vamp-Landslide of Love, single #3 from Velveteen
  15. Gravity is the best Embrace song for me. It was an early days Coldplay track so that might explain it.

  19. oh love Torn so much, one of the best pop songs of the 90s, bit unlucky with the timing Barbie Girl is such a silly song but you cannot deny peopl loved it with those sales also liked the Embrace single some hideous songs from Peter Andre and N-Trance covering the worst song of the 80s
  20. Old Phone was released yesterday wasn't it? I mean it was a Thu release, right? could potentially show up on Spotify today strange it's not shown up on Apple yet though

  22. You mean a grat? Do grats still exist? Some pre-album campaigns can be very long with multipletracks becoming available to generate preorders but doesnt mean they are singles Surprised his pre-album campaign is so long, the tendency now is 2-3 months
  23. From 1 to 1000000 It sounds 0 Like Kirsty McColl but alas
