I know I'm in the minority here but I really like Someone You Loved I even know the lyrics by heart and think they're really good and the whole idea of the song, the whole "I was getting used to being someone you loved' but then you dumped me... and from the debut also I also liked Grace, Bruises, Hold me while you wait, Before you go they were not as good as Someone You Loved but they were decent... but then album 2... he got 3 #1s with Forget me, Pointless, and Wish you the Best I know cos I'm looking at his wiki page, but I can't, for the heck of it, recall how any of those 3 goes and couldn't sing them to save my life so I'd say album 2 is pretty forgettable as I have totally forgotten about the songs :D literally
  2. what? no no this is all kinds of amazing and a totally deserved top 10 guess this doing so well it's down to the doechii sample?

his debut was amazing his sophomore was non-descriptive, and that's being generous so not sure anymore, he would need a big uplift in quality + the success of the singles from album 2 was all down to selling 30K physical that costed 99p + free shipping

'He is firing on all cylinders and there’s no doubt this single will go straight to No1' not that sure about that... considering how others like Ed have underperformed recently...

    ^yes, he was credited
  6. Oh lots of great artists lately but those last 2 I don't care at all

well Viagogo is a legit site, but it's not an official seller, so it comes with significant risks. You can get lucky and everything goes smoothly - but you’re taking a calculated gamble. not even sure how people are able to sell their tix now, cos I got tix, but I don't have them physically or online and won't have them on the app until the day of the show I believe.
  9. not saying he's buying his streams, just saying Amazon is the outlet where he's doing best while struggling on Spotify and all the singles this era would have done far worse if it weren't for Amazon not sure if we're allowed to say this as this forum has become the ed sheeran facebook teenage fanclub for some reason just look at the figures Azizam on Spotify spent weeks at 20-30, while on Amazon it was... top 3 all that time same for Sapphire, 20-30 these weeks on Spotify barely doing 150K, #4 currently on Amazon even more extreme for Old Phone, the song was out of the top 200 on Spotfy on day 2, while... top 5 on Amazon
  10. Ed did learn a few things from Ellie Goulding after all :D.
  11. oh I thought In the Army Now was Status Quo signature song! 3 great acts that all 3 deserved top 20, especially Bananarama loved Bananarama and one of my 1st albums I bought as a kid was Bananarama-Wow, which houses 3 of their best songs ever, I heard a rumour, Love in the first degree and I want you back. Her early 80s singles were also great, Cruel Summer, Robert de Niro, and also love thir take on Venus. After Wow, I don't think I liked anything anymore sadly. crazy how high Kylie considering she did it in 2 years don't know Human League that much. Don't you Want me is of course a classic of clasics but their other singles have never clicked, like them but not love them.
  12. Police had many classics! Great band! Oh my Status quo being so high, the word “pedestrian” describes them perfectly, ended up hating them but kinda liked them as a kid and one of my first albums ever was In the army now oops

Sabrina is 2K ahead, not really a chart battle, she extended the lead from yesterday Huge for Yungblud then, was expecting more from Haim but hopefully they at least reach 15K was also expecting double from Benson

boo Yungblood for #1 then... :/

Ravyn has never had a chance and doesn't have it now either with the song barely being top 20 on Apple and Amazon Dion sure has more of a chance with the song being #3 on Spotify, #3 on Apple, #4 on Amazon and #1 on Youtube
  16. My top 3 were James Blake, Chrches and Addison (i think) Surprised Chvrches got so many, love the song but was quite aternative!

oh nice high entry for sam fender
  19. yay! not the biggest fan of the early 80s but gonna give it a try, love the 80s but mainly from Madonna on ;)
  20. The patterns of Ed's songs on Amazon are so weird like Sapphire, first week, doing poorly all week stable at around 40, moving 40-37-42-37-etc all week week 1 finishes, next update Sapphire mysteriously climbs 42-4... and has been stable top 5 since then if you think that's ok, no point discussing
  21. wow, this was straight at #5 in the US Spotify yesterday with 1 million streams, guess Tik-tok wonder if this can be a UK hit too
  22. Kim Wilde has so many great tracks, Another Step, You Came, Never trust a stranger, You keep me hanging on, Four letter word the early 80s singles I don't care so much, they're just ok, Kids in America is a classic but much prefer the late 80s stuff Eurythmics were one of the best bands of the 80s, no doubt. So many classics. My #1 from them is The miracle of love <3 but also love Here comes the rain, Thorn in my side, Sweet dreams, Don't ask me why, There must be an angel,... also a big fan of Shame, which sadly flopped Lionel Richie, not a fan at all
  23. Guess that's why she posted a video on IG a few weeks ago driving while listening to Diet Pepsi! <3
  24. what makes the Ed songs more of a flop is how their success is 100% due to Alexa/Amazon, all have done poorly on Spotify, but paying Alexa to play the song every 5 minutes kinda helps :)

oh my Yungblod has cazillions of physical variants, it's crazy, he's either gonna be #1 or bankrupt his label :D
