With all the Spotify shennanigans going on I didn't realise Sombr-12 to 12 was doing so well #9 on Spotify, #10 on Apple and even #36 on Amazon (with most songs above being on ACR or inelegible) Calvin-Ocean is at #33 on Amazon, sadly only place the song is doing well

No one cares about Alex warren Olivia is becoming huge gradually and in a natural way, maybe she wont do 80k but sure she will sell More than the 4k physicals Alex did

I love Suede but at the same time I don't think they were on the same league as Pulp, Oasis and Blur. I think Suede were more favored and liked by music journalists and magazines like NME than by the GP so not sure if they had such a big impact on your average listener and we're probably on par with Elastica, Supergrass, Charlatans, OCS etc

at pop, it's definitely true at indie, alt, singer-songwriter, rock there are both great male and female artists

I mean she did 10 mil Fri-Mon worldwide, we can compare what Abracadabra did in the same timeframe worldwide vs uk and estimate it 🤩 EDIT I did some calculations... not sure if ok... if she did 23M worldwide with Abracadabra in 4 days, out of those 1.5 were from the UK, which is 5% if now Dead Dance did 10 millions, 5% is 500,000 streams in 4 days, which seems very low so possibly the 10 million in 4 days that Spotify posted is not right? :)

They mean the total worldwide data for each song when you click on an album or song like Dead Dance is on 10 Million total, 4 days and worldwide so no clue what it means for the UK
