if forced to choose one, Karma Police easily for me :)

I could maybe understand (but not really) not counting the Duets albums that had Cardi B, Bieber, Camil but Autumn variations was a proper album. I'm sure that if it had been a hit with people, it would have been the start of a new series and we'd be getting the Winter, Spring and Summer Variations but alas...

A couple of truly amazing songs, Karma Police and The drugs don't work, indie bands don't make songs like this anymore, but yes, bands like Lottery Winners are hardly Radiohead... Also really like Traveller's Tune and All Saints were generally great, that was a good debut single, really liked it back then. Finley Quaye I also liked him but prefer Sunday Shining. What happened to him? He really disappeared without a trace but this album did pretty well. not a fan of Honey, Mariah going too much rnb for me. Also never liked Cast.

yesterday on Fallon, Ed confirmed that new album is called Play and is the start of a new theme, with 4 more albums with titles such as ‘Pause’, ‘Rewind’, ‘Fast Forward’ and ‘Stop’. The first single off of ‘Play’ is called 'Azizam’ — which translates to ‘my dear’ in the Farsi language. — and will be released on April 4. He also mentuoned he's gonna do 10 albums and then stop. But doesn't fit with my counting. Guess he's not considering the Collaborations album, but either Autumn Variations. He also mentioned a posthomous GH called Eject to be released when he dies :o

was thinking the other day abut Shakira's Oral Fixation vol. 2 album the lead single was Don't Bother, a bit of a change of direction for her, more rock than Laundry Service and did well in the UK but not so much in the US, so the album didn't open amazingly so for single 2 they went with a brand new single, Hips don't lie, which was huge and a massive #1 everywhere and then they re-released the album with Hips added and some more songs Are there more examples of this? cos it's kinda radical cannot think of any other example myself... anyone?

Like but don't love. It's so bizarre how differently it performed in UK vs US. I think something in the middle would be more accurate. It's not so good to deserve so many weeks at #1 in the US, but it's also not so bad as to miss the top 10 in the UK.
