  1. Noooo I was in a minority. In Spain, then and now, English is a huge barrier so 99% of people only listen to music in Spanish. Britpop was a bit popular with Oasis but other than that, not much interest for Prodigy or Faithless etc
  2. boo at R Kelly beating Supergrass by so little :/ not my fav from them but anything is better than R Kelly 2 absolutely faves of mine. Underwater Love is such a magic track, always been fascinated by it, great great single and glad Levis saved it from obscurity. Also love It's no Good, one of the best songs ever from Depeche Mode. Their albums in the 90s were so different, Violator was ok-ish despite having Personal Jesus and Enjoy the Silence, the followup Songs of Faith and Devotion was terrible with just 2 good songs but then Ultra was all kinds of amazing and easily the best thing they've ever done. Back to back top 5s from them too.
  3. just realised Sabrina-Please please please is #4 combined
  4. The boring Whitney song made it :/ the US got it right, despite WH being far more popular in the US, One Moment in Time just made it to #5 in the US A Little Respect is really saving that top 10, fabulous song <3 kinda hated the Bobby McFerrin song, can't believe it became such a big hit, #1 in the US and all never liked Wee papa girl Rapprs or Wee rule, they're not Salt N Pepa :o
  5. didn't Kendrick chart 5 songs when they released that movie soundtrack?
  6. the occ always breaks the 3 song per artist rule like all the time so wouldn't surprise me if they allow 3 songs credited as PartyNextDoor & Drake and 3 as just Drake
  7. Yesterday when i opened Spotify i got an ad about A Valentine playlist that spotify has curated just for me lol ;) And it had 1 Kiss Me 2 Lover
  8. The Sabrina and Drake entries are terrible But the rest of newbies are all great Bon Iver, Adison, Sam Fender and Nathan!
  9. oh wow Kendrick still doing 725K!! also crazy that All the Stars is still #2 and higher than new Sabrina and Messy Things looking good for Kendrick Not Like us 725K Messy 480K
  10. guess it makes sense for me also it's easily in my top 3 PSB top songs together with Rent and Always on my Mind so should have definetely charted higher
  11. ^Im originally from Spain so in the 90s I was living in Spain, it's only in the last 10 years that I've been living in Denmark. just checked Bellissima and sounds a bit familiar but not super super familiar guess at the time I was more into Britpop and UK dance like Chemical Brothers and Prodigy and Faithless and less into European dance like Sash but liking Bellissima on possibly 1st listen :o
  12. you mean, did he say that at the release or years later?
  13. was reading earlier how Domino Dancing killed the career of PSB in the US after that, no radio played them again, and basically with zero airplay your career is dead in the US so after this, they never had another top 20 in the US
  14. depends on how hard they're pushed look at Bad Romance, Telephone, Part of Me, Ellie Goulding-Burn, Take a bow, Disturbia, Leona-Run, etc etc etc

  17. agree I thought Busy Woman would be minimum top 10 on Apple by now but maybe it's not as supported as on Spotify
  18. boo U2 getting to #1 with their weakest single of the 80s :o but I guess with album 2 Rick hadn't completely split up with SAW cos half of the album is SAW
  19. big fan of Chemicals and Block rockin'beats, didn't never it had been so close don't think I've ever heard Bellissima :o
  20. I kinda think the best strategy for Kendrick to kill Drake's career now would have been to ignore him Not Like Us did its thing last year but what he did at the superbowl only benefitted Drake was like a reminder that Drake exists it would have been better to ignore Party & Drake on Apple: 7 CN Tower 10 Gimme a huge 11 Moth balls +14,15,16,19,20,22,24,25, 30,35,40,48,49,52, 60, 69, 70, 72 New Sabrina on Apple: 31 Busy woman 58 15 minutes 73 PPP ft Dolly 77 Harder 82 Bad review 122 Good graces other newbies: 88 Sam Fender 97 Nathan dawe
  21. Kendrick 255+238+226+638+750+772+745 =3,624K Lola 541+509+432+483+470+456+449 =3,340K Gaga 510+411+352+389+361+335+314= 2,672K with free ratios accounted for, which Im certain Kendrick has more, Not Like Us will be #2 I fear could even be #3 even though he's done 1 million more than Gaga
  22. oh my someone ban drake from releasing tracks even in his diss tracks he sounds like he's half asleep
  23. there is also a Green variant on Spotify, but doesn't beat the Salmon one. there is also a full Black one but no thanks.
  24. Some big favourites Lucy <3 Bon Iver <3
  25. ^maybe for the better :o the AJ Tracey/Jorja Smith samples Love Wouldn't Count Me Out by Brandy
