Not sure if this has been posted anywhere but Black Magic won Popjustice's £20 Music Prize this year, their second in row after Move last year (credible, acclaimed queens!) :cheer: They literally are the Girls Aloud of our generation - the only other artist to have won the prize twice though they won five times (2003 - No Good Advice, 2005 - Wake Me Up, 2006 - Biology, 2008 - Call The Shots, 2009 - The Promise)

It peaked in February though like all their other singles that missed the top 10 bar LMLY, it was a very wrong single choice to begin with in my opinion...

Not sure where to post this but the group's received quite a bit of tabloid press for their clapping back at some Twitter trolls claiming they aren't involved in their music "They said they pick their own songs from a list that people have written for them. As if this gives them any credibility...Groups used to pretend to write their own stuff they can't even be bothered to do that anymore” “Never said that. We write and co write our music, n when a hit like BlackMagic comes in of course we'll take it….we've written on every single, bar the last two, and not 'sat in the room' or 'done one line' WRITTEN. “So take ur uneducated opinions,start a band,write music,graft for years n see how far it gets you two arseholes… all the best xxjadexx” Queen Jade :wub:

Yeah it's done fantastic, it's sad to see how girl groups struggle to reach the top 10 in the streaming and download era. I hope their fan base start realizing the importance of streaming like Justin Bieber and 1D fans have with their streaming campaigns... Is a RV performance confirmed then?

Really not on board with this single choice, Pt.1 without Jason Derulo would have been better but Weird People would have been the perfect choice. Two ballads in a row and in January of all times? To think the girls have now stooped as low to a Jason Derulo feature, a Pixie Lott tea :(

OA/OS has really ruined this single's top 10 chances, I had hope it would pull a Notorious :(

Please tell me they are performing Love Me Like You. I'm so gutted it's missed its top 10 chance. I feel like they could push the Christmas Mix during this time (even though it's already been released) maybe with an alternate video...
