Hopefully Foxes can stay Top 15.

Friday Chart Predictions (Thurs Update + Top 5 Sales)
Agree. I've always found the hate given to artists who don't write their own songs unnecessary.

Happy for Coldplay if they can finally get the number 1. Also, hope WWWY gets in the Top 30. Bad for Anti......

Agree - almost cringeworthy.

Great to have so many new entries on the album chart.

Friday Chart Predictions (Wed Update + Top 5 Sales)
Wouldn't surprise me if Charlie Puth and Rihanna both dropped out the Top 5, being overtaken by Blackstar and 25. REALLY hope Sia can hold on.

Always good when this happens after a while.

Friday Chart Predictions
It's out, but only just with minimal promotion. Lots of songs nowadays are released several weeks before they have any kind of impact on the charts. There's still a video and more promotion to come, plus the possibility of it being picked up by radio. The impact week isn't the week the song's released, but the week where the record company expect the song to make its first meaningful dent on the chart - a sort of unofficial release date.

Far too early to be making any conclusions about More & More. Impact week won't be for a while yet.

Adele's sales will be higher than last week, due to carpool effect. Big-ish drop for Elvis, though I'm guessing the price has gone back up?

I'm so mixed on streaming. Overall, the worst thing about it is how repetitive it can make listening to the chart these days.

Will Adele's '25' eventually outsell '21'?
The best time to launch WWWY is to coincide with the BRITS.

Will Adele's '25' eventually outsell '21'?
I just find it hard to believe you think Adele will struggle to sell 500k in almost a year.

Will Adele's '25' eventually outsell '21'?
If you want to act like 25 is somehow a flop, then fine. 21 may have been on sale longer by the point it reached 29k sales, but you have to remember that 21 never went above 300k sales in a single week. 25 had five consecutive weeks where it sold a minimum of 350k, and for three of those weeks, it sold over 400k. 25's sales were far more front loaded than 21's, so it isn't in any way a surprise that it's total sales dropped of quicker. You say most fans already have it? Most fans already had 21 at the beginning of 2012, yet it still sold more than 500k for the rest of that year. Plus you say its sales have already "collapsed"? Selling 29k in its eighth week when it's already sold over 2.5 million is not a "collapse". It will sell a large amount the week of the Brits, we still have no idea how many singles are to come, plus the album will almost certainly still be Top 15 come Christmas, when the sales will be higher. So of course it will hit 3 million this year.

Hopefully? With a Brit awards performance and several more singles to come, you think there's a chance this won't be able to shift another 500k copies. This is Adele we're talking about.

I can see it doing 4 million. It will remain in the Top 10 for most, if not all of the year. But it will probably fall short of 21.

As I said in an earlier comment, no it isn't funny. It's been done to death.

Friday Chart Predictions
Interesting, I always thought You're Nobody... had done better than that. Many X Factor winners careers have imploded soon after winning the show, yet with James Arthur we actually got to see happen. He was someone who I believe *could* have made it had he had a completely different personality.

The X Factor - Guest Performers 2015
I'm not particularly a Leona fan, but I disagree hugely with this post. It's clear to me with the line-up revealed that they are going for a "Best Of X Factor" vibe, with all the big stars from the past performing. If this is the case, Leona HAS to be there - she is the second biggest act the X Factor has ever had!!!! Yes, so she hasn't been commercially relevant in a while, yet that does NOT detract from what she did achieve since winning the show. The way I see it, it was Leona who put the X Factor on the map (not One Direction), as she was the first international success story from the show, and she broke the American market at a time when it wasn't an easy thing to do (I'm not saying it's easy now, but it's definitely gotten easier since 2008). She still has, by far, the biggest opening week sales for an X Factor debut album in the UK (and that's including One Direction), and Bleeding Love and her version of Run are still very known amongst the general public. Honestly, how can she not be at an event celebrating X Factor's biggest successes? The fact that she is no longer successful doesn't change that she once was very successful. She is still the biggest winner to come from the show (at her peak, she was far bigger than Little Mix) and the show simply cannot ignore that. And whilst her star has undoubtedly waned, I still read articles and comments on forums referring to her (amongst others) as being one of the big success stories of X Factor, so most people would still be aware of who she is. So whilst I see the merit in what you're saying in regards to her no longer being a big star, I don't see any merit whatsoever in suggesting that she shouldn't be performing at the final.
