It is actually insane how well Freya's done in comparison to what was expected. And that, despite being in the Top 20 for months and having so many non-consecutive weeks in the Top 10, she never outpeaked 9. Total sleeper hit.

If it wasn't for the lyrics, I'd really like that Weeknd track.

Good to see that despite missing the Top 10, both Baby and Close To Me have had respectable chart runs. And Shotgun needs to die now.

I'm not necessarily denying that. I'm not even a huge LM fan, it's just there's always one or two (one in particular) posters who jump on any chance to cancel them. They're underperforming somewhat in comparison to their previous album but they're not outright flopping. Woman Like Me and LM5 were still successful, so their decline is not as steep or terminal as some are suggesting.

Certain people seem to get a real kick out of the idea of Little Mix flopping.

I think if Ariana wasn't as huge as she's been this past year, there wouldn't be as much of a backlash against her on pop forums. Now that's she's almost in the Drake territory of everything she releases being huge, the hype is going to naturally seem disproportionate to the quality, and the idea of her being massively overrated will be thrown around frequently. Don't get me wrong, I get kinda where people are coming from, in that nothing she's released this past few months has matched the quality of No Tears Left To Cry, but I think a lot of the comments slating her recent output are pretty overblown and exaggerated, and I feel that wouldn't be the case if she wasn't so commercially massive right now.

Clearly loads of people do, it wouldn't have been anywhere near as huge otherwise.

I was finding Shotgun annoying towards the end of its initial Top 40 run, but now that I've embraced that it'll be in the chart forever, I'm liking it again.
