  1. Now 63 is great. It gets a lot of hate, but it's got some great tracks on it - "Ugly" "Because of You" "Sewn" "No Tomorrow" "Ride a White Horse" "Dirty Harry" to name just a few. 2002 was a disappointing year for Nows, 53 being the best of a fairly dull bunch. As for Now 100, this was always going to be the biggest Now in ages regardless of its content.
  2. Surely no one actually cares that Lil Dicky has been left off? Yes it's a number 1, but there are four other no.1s on the modern disc which is a lot by today's standards. I doubt anyone will be put off buying this because of the absence of Lil Dicky. Interesting, though, about Cardi B's label not playing ball when they were with Bodak Yellow.
  3. Now 100 could have easily been two discs of modern hits. There are at least 25 songs I can think that could have made it onto the Now. Therefore, I see no reason why they can't carry on with two discs from Now 101 onwards. This is obviously just a "special" edition Now to mark the occasion.
  4. Those drops are hilarious
  5. Despite relatively low opening figures, I still think it'll take longer for Now 98's sales to drop off than it did with Now 96 and Now 97, what with it being the run up to Christmas. I wouldn't be surprised if Now 98 still goes on to sell quite a bit more than Now 96 and 97.
  6. Isn't that a bit of an exaggeration? Most of the big hits you'd have expected to have made it onto Now 97 did, including the biggest hit of the summer. The only glaring omission from the Nows this year has been Shape Of You. Artists like Justin Bieber, Calvin Harris, Little Mix, Katy Perry etc are still classified as artists people care about.
  7. Megan in the Top 10 now. No longevity, but it's still hilarious.
  8. Kelis is so underrated. The level of success she had in 2004 is what she should have had throughout her career. Fleshtone, in particular, deserved so much more.
  9. Love Now 97. Actually pretty ecstatic there's no Ed on it. He's dominated enough things this year. And I wouldn't write any of the new tracks off as flops just yet. Congratulations on Now 96 entering the Top 40 at the same time Now 97 was about to be released proves you can never be certain when, or if, something will suddenly impact.
  10. I'm surprised by the lukewarm reception to this from some on here. This is one of their best for me.
  11. CD 2 was just fantastic on this (well, up until Jamelia).
  12. Robbie was a considerably better live vocalist a decade or so back, but to say he's talentless is just moronic. And let's face it, he doesn't really need to be a great vocalist anymore, 90% of the time the crowd sing his tracks for him.
  13. Thought Cutt Off would be in.
  14. Got to give it to Steps - didn't expect them to be doing this well.
  15. Loads of songs can chart in the Top 10 yet still be considered a flop. It depends on longevity and impressive sales, neither of which Word Up had.
  16. Now Mum
  17. 1 for 5 weeks, first week sales 140k.
  18. 209/232. Pretty happy with that.
  19. 19 out of 21.
  20. The point is, she doesn't have a personal problem with either Rihanna or Adele. That's not why she leaves their solo input off the compilations.
  21. This Cruz Beckham thing is ridiculous.
  22. That's an expected drop in sales. Not drastic at all.

Actually you didn't. You predicted it would struggle to hit 3 million full stop. When people said it definitely would reach 3m, you changed your prediction to "by the end of the year". Plus the year isn't over yet. There's still the highest sales month of the year left, and she's certain to climb the chart. Either way, its sales reached 3 million during the first half of the year, so your end of the year prediction was wrong.
  24. Happy Charli is staying steady at #18. Not my favourite of hers, but it's always nice when good things happen for her.
