Those sales aren't that bad. Certainly not bad enough to make such a sweeping statement.

I like Rockabye a lot, but I don't feel it deserves to be as big a hit as it's chart run dictates. It feels like a 2/3 week at no.1 as apposed to a 5/6 weeker. Plus it's not as seminal as Rather Be, yet it's already outdone that. Still, I'd rather it was at no.1 this week then the likes of Matt or Louis.

It's been having problems on and off for a few weeks now.

She's not the chart dominator she once was, but she's also not the total flop that you seem to think she is.

Actually you didn't. You predicted it would struggle to hit 3 million full stop. When people said it definitely would reach 3m, you changed your prediction to "by the end of the year". Plus the year isn't over yet. There's still the highest sales month of the year left, and she's certain to climb the chart. Either way, its sales reached 3 million during the first half of the year, so your end of the year prediction was wrong.

Happy Charli is staying steady at #18. Not my favourite of hers, but it's always nice when good things happen for her.

I don't it's been bad musically, plus a lot of songs I've liked have debuted in the Top 10. It's just the painfully slow turnover that's let it down.

I have to say, I never expected to see Tove Lo and PJ Harvey compared to one another so many times :lol:
