  1. I think I first started listening to the Official Chart in 2003 aged 11 or 12. I'd bought a couple of Now albums by then, and during 2004-5 I bought them every time they came out. The last one I bought was in early 2007 (Now 66) before I started downloading individual songs instead.
  2. Reminds me of Vengaboys!
  3. And also Lost In Yesterday by Tame Impala!
  4. And Little Mix sampled Thong Song in their song Love A Girl Right, including the sung part "livin' la vida loca"!
  5. #1 in the chart update this week, not sure what the sales are so far.
  6. +5 Band Aid +4 Band Aid 40 +3 Band Aid 20 +2 Band Aid II +1 Band Aid 30

#45 in the official singles update. The ultimate mix on Spotify has only just gone over 50k streams.
  10. If this hasn't already been pointed out, this song reminds me of Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer!
  11. Currently £4.99 on iTunes, my first-ever purchase of a Charli album!

Does this sample/interpolate a dance song from the 00s in the beginning bit about feeling the bass!? The melody sounds very familiar but I can't think of either the title or artist of what it reminds me of...

The silver outfit reminds me of Girls Aloud's No Good Advice video!
  16. Realised during the Glastonbury performance that These Walls reminds me a bit of The Colour Of Blue by S Club 7!
  17. Just heard this song for the first time and this was my first thought!
  18. Sounds quite similar to I'm Good (Blue)!
  19. I knew it reminded me of something and I think this is it!

A bit underwhelmed by this, and as with many other songs it feels too short.
  21. Living in a Box, Mr Blobby, Ayla and Deepest Blue!
  22. Easily 2009 for me - an overabundance of autotuned urban-dance-pop and RedOne productions which have aged like milk, lol. It doesn't help that 2009 wasn't a very good year in my personal life either, meaning the songs are often made worse by the memories I associate with them.
  23. I went for 2003. As others have mentioned, this was when I started following the charts properly. My memories of 2000-2001 are a bit hazy music-wise as I didn't yet have a radio in my bedroom, but 2002 changed that! I think 2002-2006 was the peak period of the decade for me, probably because music from that time has the strongest memories attached to it. For the later part of the decade I think 2008 was a stand-out.
  24. I received an automatic refund from Amazon and then ordered a new one from their official store.
