Janice has less appeal than drinking a large glass of wallpaper paste to me - what they heard in her is beyond me. Shame they weren't willing to go with something different for once :(

The best one's already gone out...
  4. 1. Take That [101k] 2. Kanye [37k] 3. Rita Ora [32k]

    1. Michael Buble "Love" [92k] 2. Mumford & Sons "Delta" [81k] 3. Little Mix "LM5" [79k]
  6. "Taki Taki" was bad enough, this looks like it's going to be even worse.

"The Unfortunate Gent" is 10x better than I was expecting it to be :o

Hopefully that Tom Grennan track goes nowhere near the top 40, one of the most generic and one-dimensional 'indie' tracks I've heard all year :puke:

Absolutely loving the complexity of this! My favourite of this era is "Trick of the Light", though.
  10. It's been one day

Do we reckon "Shallow" could go #1 in a few weeks? There's really nothing else big out, and it's increasing on Spotify... so it could?
  12. Just an observation, but we've had 15 number ones already this year and we're only 3/4 in - it seems as though the public have got fully accustomed to streaming now instead of playing the same songs for months on end.

Cause it's one of the best pop songs of the year🤩

It really is a poor start for Little Mix considering how big their fanbase is... really is telling that Dave can debut higher than them now with less hype.

Thing is, it's nothing new - Quavo's put out collabs with loads of the artists on his new album before, so the people aren't that interested. Lil Baby, however, is a rapper who's just had a huge hit releasing his first major album - so his Drake collab will naturally be more well-received.

Lmao I don't think anyone expected anything from Quavo; he's essentially irrelevant as a soloist.
  19. Jesus christ, this Jess Glynne era is so unbelievably bad - every song she's put out has been bland and non-descript.

    Really enjoying this.

This is brilliant, very early 2010's.

#25 Would be nice to see "1999" in the top 40 sometime soon, it's great.

Dave really deserves the top spot - "Funky Friday" is another solid track. Hope it goes top 10, would be the best song in a long time to do so.
  24. This is brilliant.

I reckon Olly will outsell Muse. Their singles from this era haven't had the same amount of hype that "Psycho" did.
