  1. Hi Jade, I'm very excited for the new album - not sure if we'll get the trio of TRUMAN/WILDFIRE/DIANA on it though which would be a shame considering they're all such highlights *.* Yess you need to check out "T69 collapse" - I can't wait for his new EP  Thanks for the comment :D
  2. Tunng hold at #1 for a second week with the brilliant "Dark Heart", propped up by Bristol punk band IDLES' "Samaritans". That track is joined by "Danny Nedelko" in the top 5 - both of which climbing as a result of the release of their wonderful new album "Joy As An Act Of Resistance". Young Fathers propel 13 places back up to #3 with "Holy Ghost" - the second time the track has reached this peak. Outside of the top 10, there are new entries from Teleman and BC Camplight with "Song For A Seagull" and "I'm Desperate" respectively - the latter of which is a frantic alt-rock banger with vague hints of 80's synth-pop. The Beths also enter the top 30 for the first time with "Great No-One". Next week I'd watch out for the BC Camplight track in particular, that and any of the IDLES album tracks could possibly challenge Tunng for the number one spot. 1. (1) Tunng "Dark Heart" 2. Nobody's impressed me too much so far... also it'd be great to see more crap ones like the first group.
  6. mdh posted a post in a topic in Television
They could be like BROCKHAMPTON if they changed their sound a bit ;o

    That boyband were atrocious

I think they'd be best off having more of a focus on the shite auditions than the good ones... like the earlier series'. That'd bring in millions of YouTube views and potentially build some hype for the next few weeks, at least. I'll be watching as usual, but you lot are putting me off! Surely it can't be that bad... I enjoyed last years', at least.
  9. *.* Also loving "Jumpsuit" and "Eastside" - wish the former would have done better chartswise. "Side Effects" is a nice change up for The Chainsmokers as well  Great chart!
  10. Ah, thanks for letting me know! It's nice to see them get some support with this new era, even if I'm not too much of a fan of the singles so far.
  11. Worth noting that last week we surpassed the 18 new entries inside of the top 10 we had in 2016 - we're at 19 now, which does show that the chart has at least somewhat sped up in the past few years. I'm not too sure as to whether we'll end up with more top 10 new entries than we had last year, Ed Sheeran's takeover will probably be enough for it to stay ahead of 2018.
  12. Hoping to see a BROCKHAMPTON appearance at some point, preferably in the next chart you post ;)

Don't think he's underperformed tbh, a #1 album and #1 single is good for any artist in this climate.
  15. 83 NE 01 Unknown T ~ Homerton B The chorus of this genuinely contains the line "Unknown T - Homerton B"
  16. Just digested what happened - really happy for "Eastside", it's one of the best songs in the charts and has a vague indie kind of hint to it, deserved! Still pretty shocked though, especially having only loosely followed the charts this week, I just assumed Calvin had it in the bag! :o
  17. What the f***? I'm so confused right now

Yeah, on the website there was information about the album being available for free digital download on the 21st when you pre-order the physical, but that's like 15 quid so f*** that lol x I KNOW, tbh I've got a feeling they'll end up spending a lot of time in the UK, they seem to have taken a shine to it from what I've heard in interviews etc. Lowkey insulted at the fact they were here for TEN DAYS and couldn't even spare one night to come to Birmingham :(

Yeah, I think "Friends" by RAYE doing nothing exemplified that this trend is basically over - I feel as though had it been released at the back end of last year, it would have done considerably better. At this point it just sounds to me as though the triad of RAYE, Mabel and Stefflon Don are all just slight variations of each other, think they need to change up their style to stay in the spotlight.

Yeah, they're kind of an alternative hip-hop group - bet you were expecting a pop band or something! (if you want to hear more different sides to them, I'd listen to "BOOGIE" and "JUNKY", they're really versatile but of course I would say that as a stan ;o)

Surprisingly it was in good taste this time, it was a diss/reference to Tyler, The Creator who famously got banned from the UK for saying 'f*****' consistently in his old music.

"1999 WILDFIRE" is on the Radio 1 playlist! Can't believe it, absolutely over the moon.

BROCKHAMPTON MADE IT!!!! Oh my god they deserve this SO much, I feel like they're MUCH better off in the UK market than in the States.

This is awful, hoping you recover soon :(
  25. Completely fed up with Conor featuring on endless mediocre dance tracks - his voice is so awfully polished and bland, almost robotic :puke:
