Totally with you on this. I get that she has 'nothing to prove' etc. but she could at least use her freedom to put out whatever for a decent purpose, like releasing something meaningful and topical. It's like she's got some weird obsession with affirming how brilliant she is to everyone, when in comparison to so many artists out there, what she's releasing is pretty mediocre.

Her rapping about how she 'didn't give two f***s about streaming numbers' and then giving in and putting the album on Spotify is one of the most pretentious and embarassing things I've seen all year. The album is completely substanceless too, nothing of interest going on here other than Beyoncé constantly disillusioning herself that she's superior to everyone. Jay is the highlight here and that's saying something. Don't think I'll be going back to anything on here again.

''Everything Is Love" is about as interesting as watching wallpaper paste dry for 10 years, so I doubt it'll do much.
