I've seen him live and he's honestly one of the most genuine musicians out there - brilliant live and he was chatting with the audience between songs! Not a clue where people are getting the 'smug tone' idea from...

Hot Hits UK adds: 35. Alec Benjamin - "Let Me Down Slowly" 42. Steel Banglez - "Your Lovin'" (feat. Yxng Bane & MO) 47. Troye Sivan - "Dance To This" (feat. Ariana Grande) 50. Jorga Smith - "Goodbyes" 52. Julia Michaels - "Jump" (feat. Trippie Redd) 60. Geko - "6.30" (feat. NSG) (also side note; why has "No Tears Left To Cry" changed to "no tears left to cry"?)

The reason 'Mr Brightside' is back in the top 50 is because loads of people got a Spotify pop-up saying a survey had been conducted and 'Mr Brightside' was the ultimate patriotic anthem, or something like that, then if you clicked the popup the song started autoplaying. Bizarre.
  4. Rich The Kid !!!! f***ing hell, 'Plug Walk' is one of the worst hits of the year

He's probably my favourite British rapper, this new version is pretty great as well. Hope it goes top 20.

Not a surprise Steel Banglez are #1, the track HAS got a Yxng Bane and MØ feature.
  7. Ohh this is better than anything he's put out recently. Drop is very 'Firestone'/'Stole The Show'-esque which is only a good thing. Surprisingly good indie-dance crossover!
  8. I quite liked 'What Lovers Do', but this is boring as anything. Wish they'd go back to their pre-2015 sound.
  9. New Alessia Cara also!
  10. So we're getting new Sigala, Sigma, Rudimental, Major Lazer, Jax Jones, David Guetta, Martin Garrix & Kygo tomorrow? Literally every popular dance producer is releasing tomorrow
  11. 'Stargazing' was great, but that was the only thing from his last era that I could really get into. I doubt he'll ever beat 'Firestone' and 'Stole The Show'.
  12. At time of posting the Russia game is 30 seconds in and it's 0-0, so hope it's still allowed :P Russia 2-2 Saudi Arabia Egypt 1-2 Uruguay Morocco 0-0 Iran France 3-0 Australia Argentina 3-1 Iceland Peru 1-0 Denmark Croatia 1-1 Nigeria Costa Rica 2-0 Serbia Germany 2-1 Mexico Brazil 3-2 Switzerland Sweden 1-0 South Korea Belgium 2-0 Panama Tunisia 0-2 England Columbia 1-1 Japan Poland 2-0 Senegal
  13. It still makes a difference - hence Juice WRLD got to #57 without Hot Hits

Playboi Chris to get a HHUK add plz *_*
  15. mdh posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Nah, not an error, there's a song on Spotify by 'Playboi Chris' named 'Chris Flair Drip' (it's a shit cover but it exists all the same)

New to Hot Hits: KIDS SEE GHOSTS - "Reborn" OneRepublic - "Start Again" (feat. Logic) Jason Derulo - "Colors" Ed Sheeran - "Happier" One Acen - "EIO" (feat. Hardy Caprio) Loud Luxury - "Body" Annoyed at the choice of KIDS SEE GHOSTS track, they should have picked 'Feel The Love' or 'Fire'
  17. Those mustard yellow Converse on the album cover  I really hope this is great, want a massive dance anthem to soundtrack the World Cup summer.
  18. Anthony Fantano gave this a TEN????? 10/10??? Wtf
  19. What's wrong with Paul, he's a legend :P
  20. Enjoying 'Wide Awake', 'Tenderness' and 'Total Football' right now - this is one of my favourite albums of this spring.

Supposedly his earpiece wasn't streaming the song for him to sing along to, and when he took his earpiece out he couldn't hear the backing track on stage either so he had to guess where the song was at  Poor bloke, he looked terrified the whole way thru :x

Yeah, the inevitable big album track hit from Drake will surely be the most mainstream leaning song that initially does well, and gets propped up by Hot Hits support throughout the week? (á la Passionfruit and Better Now)
  23. this album is f***ing immense
  24. They're such a shit excuse for a 'band' these days, it might as well just be Adam on his own  'Girls Like You' is shit too.
  25. New Death Grips album out in two weeks time, named 'Year Of The Snitch'. Not really enjoying anything from it so far other than 'Streaky' though they've got potential to put out something good, like 'Get Got'. (most of the stuff so far is kinda shite tbh)
