Jamie Webster - We Get By
I'd like this if it wasn't for the awful Liverpudlian accent :') I feel like "Weekend In Paradise" could get big if radio pick up on it.

Political Compass Poll Summer 2020
Economic Left/Right: -3.38 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.82 Relatively centrist. Fine by me.
-
ROSALÍA & Travis Scott - TKN
A bit underwhelming. Feels disjointed and doesn't really develop much. Think it'd benefit more from being a few minutes longer.

Coronavirus Part III
I very much doubt many people will break the rules if they increase the gathering limit to 3 or 4 people on Monday up from 1. That’s the way to go in my opinion.
-
Coronavirus Part III
I don’t think the public are going to ignore the restrictions as a result of this. Most people I know are either mildly annoyed at Boris and Dominic, or completely apathetic towards it. I don’t know anyone that says they feel more inclined to break the rules now after the revelations about Dominic. I think a surprising amount of people literally don’t care about what Cummings did, and just want to crack on and ride out the storm with this virus.

The 1975 - Notes on a Conditional Form
I know Matty was inspired to make the dance songs by listening to Burial, so maybe he’d be up some people’s street?

Coronavirus Part III
New cases and death rate have been falling at a pleasing rate for a good while now, lovely to see and it’s brought the spirits of everyone I know up considerably.

Coronavirus Part III
Cummings' actions are shocking and Johnson's defence of him is ridiculous, but I really hope people stay sensible and don't flout the rules as a result of these revelations. We could be in a very similar comfortable position to Germany in a few weeks time if people just follow the rules - Cummings breaking the rules does NOT give anyone an excuse to follow in his footsteps and the people using Cummings to justify having family gatherings are just as bad as him and should be ashamed.

Coronavirus Part III
Oh I’m not denying that the English have largely been horrific at observing social distancing, I’m just commenting that I don’t trust anyone in the UK to take full responsibility for their actions, regardless of the country. I know if Boris let the English meet a whole household then there’d be a significant amount more exploitation of the rules then there is currently - therefore I’d expect the same from the Scots. It’d be a touch xenophobic of me to say that the English are more ignorant to the rules than the Scottish and I trust the Scots more, frankly I don’t trust anyone in the UK to observe the guidelines tbh! (therefore, I think all four nations should be as cautious as possible by only letting people see one person at a time)

Paste Magazine Best 100 Folk Albums of All Time
Yay Nick Drake. Boo no Mount Eerie though, surely he’s a load more influential and boundary pushing than half of this list? :(

The 1975 - Notes on a Conditional Form
This is a pretty good album. I’m glad to see the album tracks are leaning away from their indie rock sound, which was getting tired and predictable. I love the techno and garage influences.

Coronavirus Part III
I still think that being told you're only allowed to meet one person will stop group meet-ups more than being told you can meet a whole household. Can see Scots meeting friends and claiming that certain friends live together when they don't. Immature oversight from Sturgeon imo.

Lana Del Rey - Chemtrails Over the Country Club
Couldn’t care less about what she said in that Instagram post - most important for me is that she’s got new music coming :D “NFR” was one of the best albums of last year so I hope she can continue her great run with this new record.

Coronavirus Part III
Scotland being a bit too lenient with their restrictions I feel. Meeting one person is far more mature than being able to meet a whole household imo.

That “jxdn” guy is my new least favourite artist in the charts. Move over Don Toliver!

Coronavirus Part III
Monday morning trains and trams in Birmingham were still eerily quiet, a pleasant surprise considering a fair few big businesses based in the city have returned to office. (EDIT - pardon me for not realising it's Tuesday :heehee:)
-
Coronavirus Part III
That’s what I thought. 1 is a far more sensible number considering 6 will probably encourage more group gatherings without distancing, whereas the English approach probably results in less gatherings as people will be more conscious of being caught being with more than one person.

Burning EU & other flags banned in Germany
Oh wow! Well there we go, quite sad that this is still the case.

Burning EU & other flags banned in Germany
This law makes me feel uncomfortable... as if they’re trying to limit people’s freedom unnecessarily

Spotify & Apple Music Chart Discussion
Unsurprising bearing in mind he sees "If The World Was Ending" as a better and more "adult" song than nearly all the rap in the chart :heehee:

Jawsh 685 & Jason Derulo - Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)
"Jawsh 685" might be the worst artist name I've ever seen.
