Not sure if anyone on here knows them/is a fan of them, but The Internet release their first single since their amazing 2015 album 'Ego Death' on Friday, it's called 'Roll (Burbank Funk)'! Super excited for this, hoping for something kinda chill similar to the solo stuff that Syd and Steve have been putting out recently.

#3 with 17k. I could realistically see Post Malone surpassing her, and can't see her outselling TGS either so #3 is probably the safest bet.

That's basically it, I agree - seeing her live would give the average listener a LOT more context as to who she is as a person but I don't think this track is TRYING to be anything more than just a generic bop. Doesn't necessarily mean she has no artistry and integrity as a singer; just as is the case with any mainstream pop girl, she's got to put her name on the map somehow, and unfortunately given how narrow-minded the GP are in 2018, this is her best bet of getting success.

I'd agree with this for most other artists but in all honesty, I don't expect anything more than a synthetic, lyrically shallow track from the mainstream pop girls, Anne-Marie included. I get where you're coming from in terms of the lack of creative direction but she's more reliant on the charm of the track, and looking past the rather major flaws of the song I can kind of appreciate it in the sense that it IS a cute bop that I'll keep replaying because it's got a certain catchiness to it, and she IS talented enough to execute this without it sounding piss poor.

random observation but my neighbours had Hot Hits UK on earlier and they played '2002' for what was presumably the first time, then proceeded to loop it for a good half an hour. I feel like the public are going to take it in a BIG way.

Don't know how I feel about this - might grow but right now I feel like just falls a bit flat? Probably going to get killed for this opinion but I don't think it works tbh, sounds like three different songs all combined into one and that kinda ruins the flow and progression of the track, it's a bit clunky and disjointed.
