Regarding the people in here that don’t watch the news cause it’s “too miserable”... maybe try it? These days at least most stories are about how the amount of deaths is dropping at quite a steady rate or about how we’re going to get out of this mess, so it’s all quite positive.

“ROCKSTAR” is superb, DaBaby is proving to be one off the most consistent rappers of the past few years for me.

This is his best work in years - “Toosie Slide”, “Pain”, and “Chicago” are all great tracks. Very surprised that I enjoyed this, but it’s nice to see Drake step out of his comfort zone a little and experiment with more drill and cloud rap elements.

I hope “Pain” holds up a bit better than the two new Drake tracks currently in the top 10, would be great to see Playboi Carti with a top 10 hit.

I’ve been keeping one eye on the daily figures across the world, and what the f*** is happening in Russia? How is it spreading so fast over there all of a sudden...?

Was just checking Mariah’s chart run to see if she’d come close with “All I Want”, and I found that she’s spent 24 weeks in the top 10, but bizarrely only charted at the positions 2, 4, 5, 6 & 8! Very strange coincidence that she appears to chart at the same numbers every year.
  7. Think back to nearly every other rap hit from the past 12 months... there’s your answer.
  8. I think it’ll be close between Meghan and Drake.

Some good ideas but lacks something coherent to bring them together. Not for me :(

  18. I just don’t get that comment, if anything I’d say it sounds like something a 13 year old would make a sad TikTok to ;) Maybe we’re just not mature enough to get it, too deep for us 😤
  19. This is horrific, probably the worst thing in the charts right now. Soppy lyrics and an all round snooze fest.
  20. I’d love to see “death bed” climb into the top 5 soon, at the moment that’s the only thing I can see challenging SAINt JHN and The Weeknd, along with S1mba’s “Rover”.
  21. This is my album of the year by far so far... phenomenal songwriting and the incorporation of household items as instruments is innovative and wonderfully quirky. HUGE album.
  22. 1) you called her “alt-pop-rock” in your first post 2) even Wikipedia states her genres as “Art pop & baroque pop“ Either way, someone please merge my original thread with this please.
  23. http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...p;#entry6502895 Someone please merge this with my thread in the pop forum. This is definitely an art pop album.
  24. Not sure if she has many fans on here, but Fiona Apple releases the long-awaited follow up to 2012's "The Idler Wheel" at midnight - named "Fetch The Bolt Cutters". Just listened to the record through an mp3, it's phenomenal. A more experimental and abrasive style to her previous works - early indications are that this'll be one of the most acclaimed records of the year.

Also expecting Tame Impala, Khalid, and Declan McKenna to make way for 220 KID, BENEE and Powfu on the A List ;0
