Estimated ACR status updates 2024
Looks like I can do it with a broken heart has another 4 weeks on the chart then as it’ll rise this week with the tour also. Not bad for a post album single to spend circa 20 weeks in the top 40

Estimated ACR status updates 2024
Bit unfair if I can do it with a Broken heart goes to ACR as it’s been rising the last 3 days but this last day won’t have counted the streams.

I want Chappel to reach #1, it does seem like it could be a four person race right now; all within 40K streams. Oh wait actually forgot that the original GUESS without will probably have at least 50K streams from people listening to BRAT (deluxe) all the way through/album listeners.. so probably not actually; as it’s true streams will be +50K I reckon each day.

Shocked at how badly Calvin and Ellie’s song has performed, I don’t think the song is bad? It’s not a top 5 hit but see it better than David Guetta’s last few

Seems Taylor hasn’t bothered to move at all on her second single ICDIWAB, not even a music video? She’s got lazy in terms of album rollouts; no videos for Cruel Summer and Is It Over both big songs; seems she might only do videos for lead singles now? She’s not going to have anymore hits from this album without a little bit of effort.

Shocked at Calvin/Ellie not debuting in the top 20, thought it’d be a given tbh. Let alone missing the top 50, imagine both teams are shook

Nice to see I Can Do it with a broken heart having a jump after it was announced as the second single, back up to the top 20. Hopefully this means it avoids ACR as it was on DL-2 this week? Should have announced it on Friday rather than Tuesday as she will only have two days of increased streams.

Not all of it is organic it is coming up on my searches when I search Taylor Swift. I mean the marketing/pay out to Spotify is working for sure, but she’s lucky she has such a team pushing her material when before this era she wasn’t super successful to probably warrant it

Apparently Taylor has just announced ICDIWAB as the second single, so maybe it’ll start getting playlist support and rise up a bit? Otherwise it’s likely to be hitting ACR really soon just as it’s become the second single. Realise big artists now wil have album tracks in the charts for 10 weeks and hit ACR by the time it’s released preventing it from hitting the charts again

No ones gonna listen to a crap song because a music video is out. The fact this was decided as a second single makes me question the quality of the album.

2024 Albums Year To Date Estimates
By the end of 2025 Taylor will have 6 million selling albums TTPD, Midnights, Folklore, Lover, Reputation and 1989. Red probably would have made it also had Taylor’s version come out later.

ngl I expected bigger jumps. Thought Houdini and Illusion would go top 30 and re chart in the top 25.

Interested to see how much Coldplay rise after Glastonbury, I reckon their whole catalogue will shoot up; but imagine their single will go into the top 25 again

Releasing/promoting to the radio, a potential music video and just general statement that it’s the second single to build up hype. As well as playlist support with it being the single will boost its numbers.

PREDICT: Sabrina Carpenter - Short n' Sweet
I reckon 75-100K if Gracie Abrahams who has had no hit, barely any back catalogue is hitting #1 with 30K sales I’m sure Sabrina has at least 3x the fans, back catalogue and hits? 2024 has been her year.

Taylor needs to quickly jump on releasing I can do it with a broken heart now that U.K. tour is over until a few dates in August. As her songs have held up purely because of the tour here; it’ll start falling soon and will struggle to climb back. She should be releasing it this Friday as a single as fortnight has already fallen down the billboard charts, surely her team know this? It’s been 10 weeks normal break between singles..

Excited to see Eminem’s album sales, R&B will be more streaming heavy but reckon he could hit 100K. He is the third biggest seller of the century behind Taylor and Rihanna

If she can make it past Thursday I reckon she’ll do it with the bank holiday, it’ll be on alot of playlists Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

But driving liscence and good for you came out before the album so they’re the songs that could chart again but are too old

I think fortnight was a terrible choice, had she playlisted, radio’d and made a single of either I Can Do It With A Broken Heart or Down Bad I’d imagine they’d still be top 3 right now. Fortnight is only higher due to playlist support and being promoted as the single.

These streaming numbers proving Fortnight was a terrible choice. Anybody with a brain could have known; I Can do it within a broken every or Down Bad were the most commercially viable single choices. Fortnight literally has no hook or catch? It’s like when she released the terrible End game because it had future and Ed Sheeran? She needs to stop making songs singles purely because they have a huge name collaborator, it doesn’t make a song stick.. Reckon it’ll continue declining relatively fast until the eras tour kicks in and it’ll stabilise, but hopefully she’ll release a proper second single by June. Dont think anybody even puts it in the top half of the 31 track list. Even failing the two obvious choices So Long London, But Daddy I Love Him, The Black Dog and Guilty As Sin would have all performed better also as they actually have a hook (these would have made sense as later singles after the first two though)

Wow, that is pretty terrible comparison. Most other artists are beating their Spotify debuts.
