Yeah I think 30-40 for sure? It’s definitely going to get at least 4x the streams as last week, with regular BRAT being out for 5 months… which will bring it to about 20K on streams, and I think she has built a core fanbase; especially after going viral to do at least 10K+ physicals for this remix album, likely more; my guess is around 20K physicals; therefore 40K in total. But could be wrong, I do agree that the vinyls being about £70 due to it being BRAT + BRAT remix will reduce the vinyl sales by at least half and will reduce those for sure, but still think physicals despite the price will be around 20K with streaming around 20K also. Just depends if Coldplay have left any of their signed albums behind to just get a second week at #1
  2. Has Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Maps hit the top 200 at all? Seen its started to go a bit virall on tiktok for a trend

My thought process was that the original BRAT is doing about 6.5K, so additional on top of this would just be the new sales/streams, so expecting 30K new sales and 6.5K continued to give a healthy amount of sales.

Feel like Coldplay are a shoe in for a 35K+ second week as well, as can’t see it dropping more than 85% in one week, which it’d need to do to fall behind that. Yes it’ll be front loaded, but I don’t think many albums drop more than 85% week on week; so could hold resistance to Charli as I’d have predicted her to land around 30-40K; would have been much higher but the vinyls are more than £60 which are the main collectors item, much more expensive than other vinyls, she should have released the album as a stand alone rather than BRAT + BRAT remix album, making it double the price/tracklist size

Doubtful Perrie or Leigh Anne’s album will ever come; both performing terribly.

Damn that’s like 80% of what Taylor did. Looks like they will land around 200K. If Charli doesn’t have vinyls she is missing #1 again, as imagine they will manage at least 25-30K in there second week.
  7. Guaranteed #1, I’m expecting opening sales of 130K Arctic Monkeys managed around that in 22 and can see Coldplay doing the same. In terms of first week sales (not the market as a whole), they’ve increased over the past 2 years. People like to collect vinyls moreso; so can see it doing better than their last album in first week sales (this trend has been seen with many artists)
  8. Crazy to think if Rihanna had a greatest hits album it’d probably have never left the top 5 in the charts considering the number of streams she still gets daily; likely could have become the biggest seller album of the 2020s..

    #2

I wonder if Oasis announcing more dates today can at least keep them stable rather than freefalling for Weds streams?

Looks like Oasis won’t achieve the top 2 albums then with Sabrina catching up by 2K over 2 days. She will be ahead now with Spotify streams already.
  12. I agree I think it’ll chart higher than #8, probably #6; behind Sabrina x3, Chappell and Billie

I’m going to Guess Adele has done it with 21&19 or 25&21

Looks like Sabrina will get back to #2 imo, so don’t think Oasis will manage the top 2 albums

Wow at Oasis #1 albums, was expecting it to land at #2 behind Sabrina,
  16. Wild to think Sabrina has more weeks at #1 in the singles chart than Taylor Swift now, and it’s all from the same year..

Honestly think possibly even top 5.
  18. 2 weeks at number 1 is great and I’m sure they’ll be happy with that. It’ll be nice now for Chappel or Billie to get a #1. Hopefully Sabrina doesn’t gain +100K with the release of her new album on PPP/Espresso gets reset.

Hot to go coming for top 10
  20. I reckon Katy will debut top 3; maybe #2. I think physicals will sell about 10K which will make her top 3, overall landing about 12K. Then she’ll flop out of the top 20 in the second week, agree with two weeks in chart. Something like 2-26-80-X. Requires such low sales now for #1 that legacy acts quit easily get #1 or top 3 albums and flop out the following week, high debuting albums are no longer a metric if an album is successful like it could be in the noughties and earlier
  21. What a slay queen of pop #35 on day 2, what a powerhouse; Gracie Abrahams could never!
  22. That album dropped out of the charts like a bag of sick, compare it to folklore longetivity as an example. After 6 weeks it was free falling. It was hardly a hit album or a contender for one of the biggest albums of 2020; I just checked it wasn’t in top 20. I don’t understand why people are shocked her music isn’t able to hit the top of the charts. A legacy artist is always going to have heavy first week sales; even Ellie Goulding can make #1 on first week sales, doesn’t mean she’s the biggest name in pop now.
  23. Lady GaGa hasn’t been one of the biggest names In pop music for a decade now. She’s had two hits in the past 10 years; both aren’t even solo hits and have relied on either a bigger current superstar who had had a trial of number 1 hits in the past year (Ariana) or a movie. She just doesn’t have the fans anymore, jt died from all of her albums after Born to die. It’d be like expecting Jess Glynnes return to smash.
  24. Looks like I can do it with a broken heart has another 4 weeks on the chart then as it’ll rise this week with the tour also. Not bad for a post album single to spend circa 20 weeks in the top 40
  25. Wonder if Taylor has avoided ACR with a 2 place climb? Will be close. If it has I imagine this will climb back into the top 20 next week
