Stick Season climbing into the top 10, it's great to see new tracks breaking through ^_^ Genuinely though, hopefully we get some big new releases soon. The 2024 year-end top 10 felt the freshest it's been for years, would be a shame to see it go back the other way this year although it's far too early to tell!

Yeah, really depends on how both songs hold up. I don't really see anything else blowing up now until the xmas rush is out of the way, but we'll see.

I don't mind the Xmas songs dominating in December but it's so sad to see how Americanised it's become. The relative decline in popularity of Pogues, Slade, Wizzard, Leona... in fact virtually all non-American artists aside from Wham. Feels especially sad this year given how few British hits we've had. Good to see Gracie likely holding on to #1 though, really don't need Wham getting 4 weeks every year from now on :lol:

Still think Gracie has a good chance to hold Wham off this week - on the equivalent week last year they managed 53k, but the 1st was a Friday so we can surely expect that figure to be a bit lower this week. Gracie's Spotify numbers look fairly stable (actually currently up 30k on last week) so she'll probably do another ~50k. It could be close!

Big fall for Sam but at least he's still #5 when ACR is taken into account... In fact only 5 songs in the top 20 are on SCR, charts are so stale at this time of year. Would imagine he could easily get #4 officially with the CDs given the low bar, that would be a great result!

Taste being the longest running #1 of the year feels very wrong, even though it's a good song. I guess Stick Season still had longer on the old rules chart :D Lovely to see a new peak for Night Changes, deservedly their most streamed song ever on Spotify now too. Hope it can stick around for a few weeks at least.

I'm not even a 1D fan but just listened to Night Changes and shed a few tears. The guy was clearly in a rough state recently and the relentless abuse online can't have helped. Have we learned nothing from Caroline Flack?

Interesting, I'd have guessed there would be 12 but do you not think Stargazing will make it? It only needs about 20k/week and is still well above that. It does look like Texas Hold 'Em will just miss out though. Great to see Murder on the Dancefloor looking safe for top 20! Stick Season might be my favourite year-end #1 ever so not complaining about it holding on at the top :D
