Just happy to see today that the UK's televote 12 points clearly wasn't representative of the general public. Anyway, as others have said, there aren't really any obvious hits this year. Nemo is #17 on the global chart, whereas Loreen reached #5.

Hard to be 100% certain (Kworb doesn't show daily totals beyond 30 days ago) but I checked Blinding Lights (3rd Feb 2020 - 27th April 2020 = 85 days) and Bad Habits (25th June 2021 - 11th September 2021 = 79 days when including combined streams from second version) So yes, I'd say Noah's 154 consecutive days is a record by a LONG distance. Ironically though it's dropped below the mark today after surviving Sunday which is usually the lowest streaming day :lol:

Stick Season survives another Sunday with over 400k streams; that's 154 consecutive days (since 4th December). Crazy when you think there were days last year where the #1 did less than 400k!

Sabrina also down on last week for the first time. Autoplay bonus wearing off? Hozier seems to have stabilised now so it seems likely she'll do the same. Good to see so many huge hits at the moment anyway!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate having four songs by different artists all over 600k outside December :o Down for Sabrina getting #1 and a faster turnover at the top!

Hozier now down more than 100k on same day last week so it's looking like he might not reclaim the top spot from Taylor after all. Still so pleased he managed to get a couple of weeks at the top! It would also be nice for Fortnight to spend two weeks at #1 because, well :lol:

Taylor has 32 of the top 50 today (with Cruel Summer also surviving the onslaught) - must surely be a record?

Hozier now only 7k up on the same day last week, but the song's still been huge even if it's stopped growing now. Will need to wait and see!

To add to this, Miracle managed 8 weeks at #1 officially without ever going above 50k weekly "sales"... Meanwhile this year we've not had a single week where the #1 was below 50k! I guess the song was aptly named after all :lol: There's an alternate universe where Stick Season is heading for a 16th consecutive week at #1 this week to equal Bryan Adams

Could actually be on course for over a million on Friday at this rate :o

Definitely doesn't seem like Hozier has peaked yet. 827k on a Monday is huge!

Noah's peak was 844,562 on 19th January, but it's far too early to compare the two. Stick Season had already been top 10 for 3 months when it peaked and it's still doing over 500k 3 months after peaking. In the streaming era longevity is much more important than how many streams you can get in a day. Over the moon for Hozier being this huge though, would love for it to hit over a million! Must be extremely rare for anything to climb to that level rather than debuting there (Xmas aside). Friday is always the biggest day though so we'll probably have to wait until next week if it does make it.

Over 3 million is quite impressive, Elton John's record finally broken :o :lol:

Benson down more than 100k on last week :o could be looking good for Hozier this week! Edit: 70k. Forever reading numbers wrong...

Pretty sure last week Too Sweet was only part of the separate Unheard EP, but looks like an expanded version of the album has now been released featuring the four new tracks (and Too Sweet as track 1 :lol: ). Probably a good move as the song's popularity will help the album out a lot in places like the US which don't discount streams from the most popular tracks.

Incredible for Hozier! Hope he can get a #1 with this, didn't see it coming at all!

Sunday always seems to be a good day for Noah; for the record, that's the 13th Sunday in a row he's been Spotify #1 His streams are also up week-on-week, both today and in total from the past 7 days. Not going anywhere just yet :lol:

Not as close as you'd think. Stick Season only overtook Lovin' On Me on 10th December, so it missed 16 days thanks to Christmas songs and would be on 91 now. Christmas songs weren't quite as dominant in 2019 so Dance Monkey still spent much of the first half of December at #1, and towards the middle of the month it was overtaken by Own It anyway. It only missed out on 7 days (1st, 7th, 8th, 21st, 22nd, 24th and 25th) and would be on 88. (feel free to correct me if my maths is off!)

Yeah I would agree with this. It already has 12 consecutive weeks with sales over 50k, I think only Blinding Lights and Bad Habits have done so this decade. An early sign of good longevity although the real test is how well it continues to stream over the next several years...

Seems like that's the year end #1 sewn up already unless we get another Bad Habits level hit. Stick Season is on track to do similar numbers to Flowers last year if it drops off at a similar rate. Chuffed for Noah, but it's sad how this is usually decided by the end of Q1 these days!

The Spotify #1 is almost more interesting than the official #1 right now! Benson, Noah and Djo all swapping places every day within 20k streams of each other. Unfortunately looks like Benson is getting it this week when all platforms are taken into account. I imagine Noah will get a 10th week as "old rules" #1 though.

Pleased for Djo getting a day at #1 even if it now appears to have next to no chance of getting there officially with Ariana taking off. I think Stick Season managed 72 days in the end. Might not get any more now, but still very impressive!
