24 hours to go...
Oops! But I meant it was ironic because the song that ended their massive reign at the top became the first - but since you've corrected me, the reference doesn't actually mean anything.

24 hours to go...
Four Weddings and a Funeral came out on 13 May 1994, four days after Love Is All Around. It didn't go straight to number 1; although, ironically, the song that finally replaced it at the top (Saturday Night by Whigfield) did - and became the first song ever to do so. (Everything I Do) I Do It for You was released four days BEFORE Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and also got to number 1 in its third week.

24 hours to go...
Since Drake went to number 1, we've voted to leave the EU, the PM has resigned, Prince has died, full series of Big Brother, BGT and Love Island have all come and passed, Hibernian have won the Scottish Cup for the first time since 1902, the entire European Championship has begun and ended, UK politics has become a farce with Theresa May becoming PM because someone else didn't want to, a reality star has officially become the nominee for U.S. President, Busted have been on tour for the first time in a decade, and so much more. I won't go into any more though.

OCC: Jennifer Lopez's official biggest songs in the UK
I don't even recognise half that list. Love Don't Cost a Thing, Play, Ain't It Funny and Jenny from the Block have all been outsold by Get Right? Play only just makes the top 10? And Ain't It Funny is number 14?! WOW What also shocks me is that Let's Get Loud was never released here - that's a great song

OCC: The UK's 60 biggest selling albums of all time
I figured it was just shipment certifications from the time

OCC: The UK's 60 biggest selling albums of all time
19 by Adele must have literally only just missed the cut-off point. If the deadline had been just one week later, the Glastonbury sales spike would've give it enough sales to get in there. Robbie's greatest hits must've been real close too

Jason Derulo's releasing a greatest hits album
Apparently this was news three weeks ago but I've only just found out. Greatest hits albums are hardly hot property these days: only Paul Simon (to an extent), Bon Jovi and Pink have been successful in the last few years. Jason Derulo's never had a number 1 album anywhere in the world, so does anyone see this one going places? http://www.idolator.com/7638569/jason-deru...its-compilation

Biggest song to never reach #1?
Even more than that - 128th

Biggest song to never reach #1?
Let It Go is top on around 1.1m, Radioactive around 900k

OCC: The UK's 60 biggest selling albums of all time
How has Automatic for the People sold more than Sing When You're Winning? AFTP only went 7x Platinum (2.1m) in February, whilst SWYW has passed 2.2m according to Music Week (and I seriously doubt much of that comes from streams). Has AFTP really sold over 100k that quickly?

OCC: The UK's 60 biggest selling albums of all time
I would guess that Definitely Maybe is 61/62 as it went 7x Platinum back in the days of shipment certifications, whereas Automatic for the People reached that mark this year. Unbelievably, Whatever People Say isn't even in the Top 50 sellers of the century.

OCC: The UK's 60 biggest selling albums of all time
The Immaculate Collection was almost 100,000 behind Back to Black in "Sales" the other day, so either that figure's from too far back or Madonna's experienced an overnight SPIKE in sales!

Male & Female Duets
Love Sex Magic by Ciara and Justin Timberlake. Also, 4 Minutes featured Timbaland too, so not technically a duet
-
Non-English Singles to have impacted the UK Charts
Dragostea din tei and Las Ketchup

OCC: The UK's 60 biggest selling albums of all time
The last all-time update in February 2014 didn't feature Jeff Wayne. Not a clue where he would've been before but looks like a number of people have discovered the album in the last two years

Biggest song to never reach #1?
Vienna was number 2 for four weeks. Woman by John Lennon beat it the first week (since he'd died two months earlier, his sales would've been increasing tenfold for weeks), and then Shaddup You Face beat it each of the other three weeks

Male & Female Duets
I love how you remembered one John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John duet but forgot the other one, You're the One That I Want!

Favourite ever songs by girl bands/boy bands
Some might be a little outdated but vidcapper and liam might be able to dig some figures out

Biggest song to never reach #1?
How did I forget Wonderwall?! The third best-selling non-number 1 ever! (after Last Christmas and Moves Like Jagger)

Biggest song to never reach #1?
Starships, which is surely a million seller by now (on sales alone). Maybe the OCC are holding out for another million seller to announce it with
