  1. Releasing songs without music videos remain a terrible idea especially for acts like Little Mix that aren't exactly streaming forces. It did wonders for Sweet Melody. I get that NOW it's a terrible time to release so I think they should have just waited til after Xmas and release the song/video right after. But we'll see.
  2. Yeah losing to Kylie on iTunes is a bad sign. Oh well, they only had one #1 album anyway so it's not gonna be their first time and they'll probably still have decent numbers.
  3. Is Apple Music big in the UK?
  4. When will we get the official ratings with the iPlayer and late views counted in?
  5. It's a shame they never got this kind of opportunity during their peak. Now it looks like it's too late.
  6. Maybe it will grow with word of mouth?
  7. Pretty sure this could have been very successful for them - even not being a very Little Mix kind of song - but the video taking over a month definitely hurt it's chances. It still did good on Spotify
  8. There's an entire Taylor album above it on Spotify. People are doing way too much on it's performance.
  9. 3 amazing hooks!! I can't believe people are saying it's not catchy.
  10. This is their best single since Touch. I'm obsesed with it. Already played it over 50 times.
  11. EMAs the best
  12. Wings and How Ya Doin. Easy
  13. I hope it keeps making gains on Spotify. A top 15 would be nice.
  14. So a huge reliable brazilian jornalist just announced that the girls will be doing Rock in Rio 2019!! If anyone isn't familiar, this is a pretty huge deal. RiR has an attendance of 100k per day and it's broadcasted live so it's a huge ass event in Brasil and will bring a lot of new people into them. I'm so f***ing excited they're finally coming!
  15. Only You (Stripped) is a mess after we got that beautiful Touch rendition for Glory Days. This "stripped" version should have been a spotify thing only if it became a single to help boost streams. It didn't deserve a place on the album.
  16. It annoys me they only did Royal Variety once. And now seeing all the promo slots Joe mentioned... do we think they're not invited? Because that's what I don't understand when they're one of the biggest acts the UK has.
  17. I'm worried about this since they seem to not have recorded the video for this yet and we're starting promo for it soon. Hoping their team has things under control.
  18. I do think they'll indeed ignore Monster In Me and I'm already upset about it. But as soon I heard the album and realised there were about 6/7 single materials, I knew there would be disappointment in whatever they choose.
  19. They seem to really love Forget You Not. There was the Perrie video, they already did some posts with it's lyrics (and they haven't done that to every song) and when they were doing make-up for something on release week one of them (Jesy I think) did a video dancing to it too. It's clearly beloved so I hope they go for it. They do say in lots of interviews they want to appeal to all audiences and that they play it to their boyfriends to see what's cool etc, so I'm hoping Alex being mega excited about it made them think they could get the hetties on board for this one.
  20. I'm absolutely over the moon they chose to completely ignore the US this era. That's how it should have been since Black Magic flopped there. They're not the only relevant market
  21. Such a shame.. I know it's still a great number for a female act especially given they haven't done much promo for the album but still.. it's sort of their first album after Syco and with a new sound and I feat they'll look at the numbers and think the problem is the mature sound or Syco kicking them.
  22. With the little ass promo we got, I think it's ok. With all the promo coming in december, it will make up for it. Glory Days was a masterclass in creating buzz so it was obviously not going to be the same.
  23. 08 The National Manthem 08 Woman Like Me Ft. Nicki Minaj 09 Think About Us 06 Strip Ft. Sharaya J 10 Monster In Me 09 Joan Of Arc 07 Love a Girl Right 08 American Boy 08 Told You So 10 Wasabi 06 More Than Words Ft. Kamille 09 Motivate 08 Notice 09 The Cure 10 Forget You Not 06 Woman's World 01 The Cure (Stripped) 07 Only You Commentary: 08 The National Manthem - I love album intros and this was beautifully done. It's not as epic as Ariana's carreer highlight "Intro" but it works for me. 08 Woman Like Me Ft. Nicki Minaj - I like it but it's nothing special. 09 Think About Us - Love it but it would be a 10 without the male voice on the drop. 06 Strip Ft. Sharaya J - Eh... cute message but it never really goes as off as it should. 10 Monster In Me - Outstanding. Career highlight. Lyrics 10, vocals 10, melody 10. 09 Joan Of Arc - I just love how this really shows off their personalities and there's just so much fun in this song. You can't help but have a smile on your face. 07 Love a Girl Right - It's cute but not very memorable. The middle-8 with the boys x girls moment is EVERYTHING but I feel like the chorus without the chanty "you better love a girl right" would be waaay hotter. 08 American Boy - Fantastic song. Jade's verse is a highlight and it's catchy as hell. 08 Told You So - I usually hate acoustic tracks but somehow this works for me. Lyrics are relatable as hell and it really grows on you. Some drums would improve it to me. 10 Wasabi - Career highlight as well. The lyrical content is EVERYTHING, their delivery is flawless and it's an undeniable bop. 06 More Than Words Ft. Kamille - Love the verses but I can't get around that chorus with all the long silences between lyrics. Might grow tho. 09 Motivate - Love it. A really sexy record for them. 08 Notice - I love the Fifth Shades soundtrack vibes but it lacks some oomph. 09 The Cure - Perfect album closer. I always get a bit emotional when I listen to it. It's not a 10 to me because the drop following the chorus is a bit disappointing. 10 Forget You Not - I would give it 11 if it wasn't for the outro which I find kinda useless but this is definitely my fave with Monster In Me. 06 Woman's World - Great lyrics but a bit boring to me. 01 The Cure (Stripped) - This was so uneccessary, the definition of filler. 08 Only You - It's cute in all it's Anywhere rip-off glory.
  24. Mine would be the same as Joe.
  25. Hahaha same. But I voted for TAU. Strip can exist as a promo single like Ari's The Light Is Coming did.
