With 31 weeks on the chart I think you can guess that I like this song. The guitar, the vocals, the lyrics, everything about this song is perfect. My feet are tapping along every time I hear it. This song is good, that I was sure it would be number one of the year already back in january. 5. Aly & AJ - Rush Highest UK Chart Position: --- Highest Personal Charts Position: 6 Highest USA Chart Position: 59 The only artist that is in the top 10 with two songs. Aly & AJ are my discovery of the year. I don't know if they will have a long career in music, but they do got the right producers and there songs are great. 6. Girls Aloud - Something kinda oooh Highest UK Chart Position: 4 Highest Personal Charts Position: 1 I was afraid that the girls had lost it. I didn't like See the day, Whole lotta history and Long hot summer. But I was so happy when this was released, it made me dancing again. Now I'm a fan all over again. 7. Editors - Munich Highest UK Chart Position: 10 Highest Personal Charts Position: 22 This one is actually a bit of cheating. Munich was orginally released in April 2005, but it was re-released in January 2006, which makes it legal for me to put it in my chart. One of the best indie tracks of the year and it has grown on me for the whole year. Everytime I hear it it's getting better. 5xRVm-JX5Rk

8. Aly & AJ - Chemicals react Highest UK Chart Position: --- Highest Personal Charts Position: 4 Highest USA Chart Position: 50 This song isn't well known. It was only released in the USA. Aly & AJ are two girls (they're 15 and 17) that sing pop/rock in the style of Hilary Duff and Kelly Clarkson. I think the song has hit potential in the UK as well. 9. Lily Allen - LDN Highest UK Chart position: 6 Highest Personal Charts Position: 1 This year I went on a two week holiday in Norway. I was just in the back of the car, watching beautiful landscapes and this track from Lily Allen came on. It instantly gave me the perfect summer feeling and I don't think any other song did that as good as LDN has. 6-ejta2aB8E
