Unless something truly dramatic has happened in the last 3 days and it's back in the Top 20 (yeah, I know) Hair's run in the Top 40 is over. Unless I'm literally the only person who has streamed it this week it will still be in the top 100

Earlier today Jade posted a pic on Instagram of one of their 'Little Mix bibles' with the caption 'LM4', so we know they're deffo writing the new album rather than just doing nothing until V Festival

John Alamu, who is a vocal coach, tweeted earlier that he did a session with 2 of Little Mix today and will be working with the other two tomorrow. It looks like Leigh was one of the two today judging by her snapchat about vocal warm-ups. Don't know which of the girls was with her though

There were a few rumours going around on Twitter last night, which I shared on the Salute thread

MixersMissions on Twitter has posted a few tweets that reveal a lot was planned for the Salute era Salute was due to be released in the US in Autumn 2014 The girls were due to perform on America's Got Talent and do a radio tour This would have coincided with the US leg of the Salute tour The girls would also have supported 1D on tour in the US in early 2014

Also shows what a missed opportunity it was for Salute to be a global hit

I really hope so. They're getting exposure so now they need to capitalise on it

I'd be very surprised if they didn't release the lead single in time for an X Factor performance. Surely Cowell isn't going to have them not perform on both of his big shows in the same year?

If we did get LM4 this year it would feel rushed IMO. Given they spent so long and took so much care with Get Weird I can't see how they would rush out an album this year. Bear in mind last year we got the first play of BM in May before it was released in July (a year ago tomorrow in fact) while they haven't even written LM4 let alone recorded it. IMO they're much better off releasing LM4 in the first 3 months of next year

Yeah I think it's got every chance of getting another week in the Top 40, which would be great

I'm beginning to wonder if we will actually get LM4 this year after all. They've got a few weeks with nothing (that we know of) booked until V Festival so that gives them time to fully focus on writing and recording LM4. It really depends whether they go for 2 pre-album singles or 1. I really hope it's two because the last time they went for an album release straight after a lead single look what happened!

Good to finally have an updated figure for Wings. Quite amusing that MTV are still showing the out-dated 'Little Mix Official Top 10' as of yesterday. You know it's very out of date when it has Black Magic's sales at 190k! In other pretty awesome news, Get Weird is at Number 17 this week

That's pretty cool. This afternoon we'll find out if it's still in the Top 40 and if the girls have managed to complete 52 consecutive weeks on the chart

Aren't they not too far off overtaking Spice Girls as the biggest selling girl group in Australia? Surely that will lead to extra dates being added for the next tour? Hopefully with some New Zealand shows as well

Just having a look at DNA's chart history. It was released in the same week as Little Things by 1D and Locked Out Of Heaven by Bruno Mars, which both charted higher. Why on earth LM had a single released in the same week as 1D I'll never know but that's for a whole other discussion. It's second week saw new releases from Olly Murs and Alicia Keys, as well as Girls Aloud's comeback single. Adele's Bond theme was also released around then. Basically it seems like they would've been better off releasing DNA a week or two earlier to at least give it a chance. We're talking several major artists releasing new singles around the same time as a band who were just starting out

With any luck it could go Gold before the end of the month

Latest update I saw on Twitter on Friday had Hair's sales on 347.000 so it looks like the guy Joe got the figures from is simply a week behind

If it's Top 40 on Friday that will be 52 weeks

As well as being Perrie's birthday, Sunday will be a year since Black Magic was released
