I seem to remember LMLY took something like 14 weeks to reach it's peak. I think they got it the right way round with that and SLS

Yeah Change Your Life probably counts as a ballad, but can it really be considered a hit? Peaked at 12 and not certified in the UK

Yeah aside from Cannonball the closest thing they've released to a ballad so far as Little Me, which took nearly two and a half years to go Silver, so SLS being so successful is massive for them

Yeah by the time Hair could potentially be Gold the album will either be double platinum or very close to it. The one thing that could help get it just above is that fact the single version is different to the album version

I remember when they were on Graham Norton earlier this year and he said it himself- 'people don't make enough fuss of Little Mix'. The success of the album and tour not only in the UK but worldwide shows they already have a bigger fanbase than people think. Also, Leigh-Anne noticed that some of the overseas crowds have been generally older than the UK ones, but I think there are still some people who still think they are just for kids, simply because they are a girlband

It probably is, but we can only go on the latest figures we have. Either way given how iconic Wings is it's certainly a turn up to see a post album single this close to it

SLS actually went up a place in the charts this week and has now got 526,164 sales. Less than 6,000 needed for it to overtake Wings. Yes, a post-album single is about to overtake Wings

263,739 sales now. Could well overtake DNA's sales next week, which is probably as high as it will go to be honest. I'd be pleasantly surprised if it overtakes LMLY

I honestly thought it would be out of the top 40 by now. Don't get me wrong I love the album as much as I did the day it came out, but I doubt anyone could've imagined that 30 weeks down the line we'd still be talking about it being in the top 10

Number 9 this week, a jump of 7 places. In it's 30th week in the charts. That Bank Holiday reduction worked wonders!

Barely believable that Get Weird looks set to go back to the top 10 again after 30 weeks. Just when you think it's going to start falling, it climbs again. I haven't seen this many comebacks since watching Man Utd in the 90s!

It has had a great run for a 4th single, particularly with the no promo issue, although to be fair to the girls they've been touring most of the time since it's been out. I suppose the frustration about it not going top 10 is that, for the second time this era, we've been so close but not quite made it. Jade is now back in the UK and I think Leigh will be back today or tomorrow so hopefully they might do something promo wise before STB. I suppose it also depends on Jesy's injury

Latest figures I got from Twitter on Friday: Secret Love Song: 518,064 (81,936 for Platinum) Hair: 232,793 (167,207 for Gold) Get Weird: 552,985 (47,015 for 2x Platinum) Get Weird should have a pretty significant increase given that it soared up the iTunes chart over the weekend. Difficult to know with SLS and Hair without a midweek update. I agree that there is no way Secret Love Song won't go Platinum. Slightly surprised it looks set to get there before Wings

Without compilations Get Weird is at 7. Today is the last day of the sale price so hopefully it will stay up there
