Don't know whether I'm just being bias or not, this being my era and all but there seems to be a lot of good singles from 1989 that are now largely forgotten about. There will be more coming up later but one currently charting is the song by Ten City, which I bought at the time and still love it now.

Rapture by Blondie is good but the rap is nonsensical. Tin tin included Steve Kipner who later wrote some classics like Physical & Hard habit to break.

I love Blinded By The Light but can never make sense of the lyrics. For example. "And go-kart Mozart was checkin' out the weather chart To see if it was safe outside And little Early-Pearly came by in his curly-wurly And asked me if I needed a ride "

Yes, great band. I always liked BMR as a kid, then bought their compilation about ten years ago. One that hasn't been mentioned, which is a fave of mine is As Long As I Can See The Light.
