Its bad when Racey was the best thing on. Apparently Mike Chapman wrote Some Girls for Blondie, as he was working with them at the time on Parallel Lines. I wonder how their career would have panned out if they had recorded it..

Good guess, but not correct I'm afraid. The correct answer was Sharon Sheeley the writer of Somthin Else, the connection because she was Eddie Cochrans girlfriend and also briefly went out with Phil Everly aswell. Admittedly it was a bit hard that one.

I'd never heard Mary Ann before, but whilst watching the show I was thinking this sound very much like Smokie, without knowing that barton had later joined Smokie! Agadoo was very much a big departure from their early material then, unfortunatley not for the better..

Past #1's you can't imagine even being hits now?
Personally, Id never lump Orson in with Basshunter and The Firm. Much better than the aforementioned acts.

Rihanna Vs Madonna
I'm not really a fan of either. I just think the way it is,is like comparing apples and oranges. In the madonna era, featured artists were a rarity and there was no downloads, so album tracks didnt sell. So if you excluded those things with Rhianna it would be fairer comparison

Rihanna Vs Madonna
Sales should be excluded if she was a featured artist, and also sales excluded for album tracks, then see if she still comes out on top

If Ant & Dec could get to no.1 last year, then I'm sure anything could get to no.1 now. Maybe even Teletubbies Say Eh Oh
